Thanks for another video, I'm self taught, went from 87'10" to 118'10" through watching you. Trying to correct my flight so it lands properly instead of flat by next season.

Great to hear! Keep working for sure! Just know that the farther you throw the more time the javelin will have to nose over. Don’t force the nose down early. Best of luck out there!

How much time it take to increase your throw that farther?

    Coach, great video.
Do you have video on training to increase the speed of the throwing arm or fast arm?
    Thank you.

This video is a bit old and I should probably up date it but it gives a good insight on how to increase your arm speed.

Another great video, random question but I recently hurt my left side during a javelin throw as a righty, I'm wondering if I should invest in a javelin belt that goes around my waist to prevent it from happening again but I don't fully understand the purpose of it I just think it would help, thoughts?

I think you’re on the right track. You could give it a try. I’ve used a belt at different times in my throwing career. It does make me feel more able to relax during the throw. I did not have back problems at the time. If you have back issues, definitely seek medical advice and do what you can to strengthen it. Maybe use the belt as a preventative measure as you suggest. I’m sure someone else has better advice in this area than I do. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and comment!

What is an athlete doing when he or she is forcing the javelin to go tail up?

The nose of the javelin may be dropping (wrist movement possibly) or they are moving the handle of the javelin higher than the nose during the throwing motion. Many things can impact it but essentially the handle of the javelin is traveling above the nose.
