- Hey Folks, This is a video response to @ThePoorMansRetroGameRoom who inspired me to put out a video of my own. If you haven't checked out his channel please do.
Also if you like the sleeves I had protecting my games please visit
@VideoGameDustSleevesVGDS to get your own.
The Sleeves I had were from these two channels below, if you are not subscribed please give them a follow and a sub, they are way better than I am at this stuff.

Cool picks man! Never heard of many of those NES/Famicom games. Unique list. Oh man with the Super Mario/ Duck Hunt cart It was my only NES game for a good year so that’s all I played! 🦎🦎
If that was your only one for a good year, it was a year worth playing. They really nailed it with that one as a pack in game.
Thanks for the shoutout! Excellent list and it’s cool to see some games we didn’t get over here. Great video! it’s hard to leave contra out for sure
I struggled with Contra for a while. I had DuckTales on there too but, decided to take them off as well. So many great games from my childhood. Most of the games I picked were the one's that I got play with a friend. Games are fun by themselves but, memories are really made with good people that you get to share those great games with.
Ah nice video and picks Bear boyo. Alf & Towelie looking well and relaxed back there.🕹🐻🎮😎☘️
I can't prove it but, I think Towelie is passing something off to ALF. 😲
good keep it up stay connected! New supporter friend here.

Appreciate it, Thanks for the like and support!
Thanks for the shoutout! Excellent list and it’s cool to see some games we didn’t get over here. Great video
Took a while to put this together, it's funny when you first think of the idea. It will be easy! Then you actually start pulling games off your shelf and your realize how big of a task this actually is.
Some bangers here dude! Blades of Steel was THE hockey game for me back in the day. Still a favorite. And the Fighting mode made it that much better. 😂 Double Dragon II is still my favorite of the series. I still need to track that Young Indiana Jones game for the NES. Good stuff dude! Nice dust sleeves too! 😜
Yeah the dust sleeves are rocking for sure. I have to get some more soon. The young Indiana Jones game I totally forgot about until I ran into it at the store. I spend more than I would like to say but, I think it was well worth it for the nostalgia points. That game defined so much of my childhood and my interests later in life.
Awesome list! Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt are just all time classics and a lot of fun! I've never played any of the others but they look fun and I enjoy hearing other people's memories of things that they love
@@NerdLife84 love of gaming is something I have plenty. Thanks for checking out the video.
This is an interesting video and a very good question to ask the gaming community nicee to see the iconic double dragon 2 and a great game hockey as well blades of steel 😊😊
@@raza_is_retro thanks for Watching and Sharing. Blades of steel had such a large impact on my life, I’m amazed more people don’t talk about it.
You pick some tough games! But fun ones too! Blades of Steel is a great classic.
@@MockingjayYT Blades of steel is one of if not my favorite sports game. It’s a short list. 😆
Golden Axe, Final Fantasy 7, Pokémon Crystal, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. So many more though!
It's a tough list, that's why I limited it to NES and I still had problems. There's a bunch that I should have mentioned but didn't.
Those are some great memories! I’ve only played the first Double Dragon on the SMS but I’ve been meaning to play the rest of the series!
I don't' remember playing the first one when I was younger but, I think the second one is the best one. I gave the first one a go within the last year and it's still good but, doesn't really hold a candle to the second one.
Nice vid! I loved seeing the Famicon Games. I need to add one to the collection to play some of these.
Thanks for checking out my video and commenting. I really like your name, speaking of your name that is exactly how I feel. 🤣 36 hour is not enough in a single day.....
I remember being slightly hazed by my dad foe wanting Rescue Rangers at the age of 11, but he didn’t understand its greatness, of course! 🤣 Awesome list of games!
Appreciate it, Rescue Rangers were one of the best games on the system I think in terms of polish and attention do detail.
Field combat looks interesting and I would definitely agree what you said about super mario bros.
I recommend playing Field Combat, even on a Rom. It's fun but, also really simple.
Thank you for the mention appreciate it.
You bet, I love the sleeves and I'm getting ready to purchase some more. Product should for sure be promoted. 😁🏜 Desert living causing a lot of dust, you know.
@@pappabeargaming no rush, I'll be here when you are ready. Thank you for showing and promoting them. Desert living..... oh a sleeves dream. 😂
Thank you for sharing!
@@emsemtsemsemts4707 thanks for watching!
Field combat looks interesting and hadn't heard of it before.
Field Combat is fun, pretty unique for it's time.
It was hard leaving Mario and duck hunt off I do have some stories but i really wanted to get combat in there.rescue rangers is a fun one. Double Dragon II was fun. Blades of steel was one of the only hockey games I would play. Young Indy show I watched never played the game. Some fun picks
@@thevideoplace1978 my off the cuff gameplay didn’t do the The Young Indy game justice. There was a lot of memorizing enemies etc!
Those are some great games pretty much all of those games I would play at my cousins house, Double Dragon was good fun, oh man Blades of Steel is still the best hockey game!
My games for the NES would be these based on what I played the most
1.Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt
2. Castlevania II Simon's Quest
3. Super C
4. Ninja Gaiden
5. Blades of Steel
I"m glad to see Blades of Steel is on your list. I'm surprised with the amount of fun I had with it it isn't more popular.
@pappabeargaming apparently, there is an N64 version I need to try also
@@matcam89 I heard about it but, I doubt it compares to the NES version. Going to 3D is always a tough endeavor.
You forgot Adventures of Yogi Bear for the SNES. And what about King Salmon for the Mega Drive? Or The Berenstain Bears & The Spooky Old Tree for the GBA 😬
@@therealbitwars don’t you mean the Bernstein Bears?!🐻
@@pappabeargaming 🤔Never heard of them 😆
Don't feel bad for getting a SNES late in it's life. Did you know that over half of all SNES consoles sold, were sold in 1996 or later? 😮 I know right!?
I've heard of Mappy and Contra, but I'll have to check out your other honorable mentions..
Well I was for sure one of those purchases! Apparently there isn't much overlap anymore with next gen and past gen consoles. I waited too long for the PS4 after the PS5 came out and couldn't find a new one in stores to save my life. Had to buy new off amazon for a not so reasonable price.
Original mario is a classic and is a game i often try to speed run on Nintendo switch online.
OG mario is a classic for sure. I've played it so much now.
