I remember seeing this one about 5 years ago when siren hunting, had the white splotches on one side, but I never noticed the bigger patch on the other. Still sounds healthy as ever!

This siren although is still in service will be moved in the spring. We installed a Modulator to the center of Lewis’s campus in November 22’. Both are presently in service until the move. It will be relocated, repainted and have the control boxes replaced with stainless steel units for corrosion. Yes, it will remain yellow and yes I will have CD stickers placed on it. Mike..

Wow! I thought this was now inactive, as another enthusiast claimed that this was unoperating during the August siren test.

My city has about 49-50 SRN/SRNB and 130 sirens along with two modulator sirens. Replaced a system that had aca alerters and whelen sirens around 2001-2002 after we had the original system fail during a tornado in 2000 due to an lightning strike that took the entire system offline due to lack of battery backup and the 2001s that replaced that system have battery backups.
