- These fighter planes were converted into air racers for the Civvy Street Group Build hosted by Rob BasicModelling. The PM Model Hawker Sea Fury T-61 was converted into the silver Reno racer "Little Chief", while the HobbyBoss P-39Q became the all-yellow Airacobra '95' in the last Cleveland-held National Air Race. The Mistercraft Caudron C.714 underwent heavy surgery to become the blue Caudron C.561.
The number decals came from Techmod U.S. Serial & Code Numbers (Black) (sheet 72110).

Excellent builds of all three kits. Thank you for sharing.
And thank you for your compliment! 🙏
All lovely builds, especially what you did with the Caudron !.😊
Thanks! The Caudron was the most interesting project of the three; the Sea Fury and Airacobra were relatively quick builds.
Your builds are always impeccable!
It interests me that you choose simple kits from Hobbyboss, and yet, you are obviously a talented and skilled model maker, for example - your various modifications by using plastic card a vacuum forming.
It is nice to see civilian schemes on these military aircraft.
Have you considered the Hurricane ( " Last of the Many "), and the civilian Spitfire schemes..?
Many thanks for your enjoyable builds.!
