@@user-qx2kb9jl4y Lmao agreed on that first point. I mean, when I say I ship them, along with most people, generally we don't want them to get together in the current point in the anime. In an ideal world, bakugo would seek some therapy or something beforehand. I usually read stuff where they are older anyway, or fics that have active development. I ship kiribaku too but I would think that they would theoretically get together earlier than bakudeku. I totally get the criticism though.
@@juliahock5549 no but same i do ship kiribaku because they are equals. i need a balanced relationship cuz i don't want them to suffer. i want them to be happy. they give and take equally unlike BKDK where Deku does most of the giving while having nothing in return. and bakugou vice versa (i read the 2nd most popular BKDK fanfic on A03 along with others to see why its popular, the 1st is sexual, not into that. it speaks alot abt them tho) and its just deku suffering to understand him while katsuki has some complex happening in his head and getting mad at deku for nothing (unfair for deku) or he is just totally out of character.
it seems more like they like the idea of childhood friends to enemies to lovers than actually caring about the actual TYPE of chemistry they have on the show. and they also like the idea of poor communication because my friends who ship them said it was part of the appeal.
Also, tho i know their relationship has gotten better (i read the manga). its just so wrong to ship a bully victim with an ex-bully. I KNOW PPL CAN CHANGE. but its still horrible. i don't hate BKDK shippers, i just think they don't understand how traumatising bullying can be. their relationship is just so complex already but adding romantic/sexual undertones in it is just so fucked up. and if they were to become a thing hypothetically, i wont even be mad. id just be worried for Deku's mental health more than Bakugou's.
