Hey audio friends! Check out my new album, produced in my home studio. It's not generic garbage, trust me. I think you'll like it: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/cthreep/karma-harm
Anyone having issues clicking on folders for landr. All my finalized music is there but the whole system closes up if you click on folder option. Been contacting landr for days without any resolution to issue.
Is a Hi-MP3 file good to upload to streaming sites?I just think Landr are going a bit over the top with their £39 p/m membership in comparison to the £14 p/m Hi-MP3 membership. If anyone can reply to my message I'd appreciate that a lot.
Hey does anyone know how I could get my entire iMac’s output to play through my mixing headphones? I’ve been listening to Landr’s mastered version of my songs without headphones for the longest. Thanks in advance.
Always have enjoyed your good light-heartedness. Do you have any experience/resources mastering for video? I’m a worship pastor that’s doing things online. I’m new to the balancing music & speaking. Thanks.
I'm setting up a small digital label. Would you recommend LANDR's distribution service for this? The other ones seem too pricey for multiple artists. Does LANDR allow for multiple artist names when uploading?
I’ve let landr master 3 of my tracks and there is no difference from before To after. check out my two most recent uploads on my page there Landr mastered tracks
I'm on your page-Which songs were Landr mastered? By the way-You have great voice-with respect, you can back off the vocal effect a little bit. Let your voice come through the mix because it has a natural timbre to it. Peace.
@@michaelpal7641 it was my song Fallin for Nothing and To The Moon. And I agree. I’ve been told I have a good natural voice tht stands out In a good way lol. New music is coming
@@T3rryR4y -Nice sound!!. As for me, let be up-front-I play Rock, Blues genre style of music. I'm comfortable mixing right now, but really want to get myself out there (and here on the Tube as well). Not sure about mastering-so that's why I am considering Landr. It seems like it would be a good fit for me. As for distribution to all outlets-Where you/are you happy with Landr? Thanks for your reply-Keep the songs coming!
@@michaelpal7641 Nice I have uncles who play blues I haven’t seen in years tho. I love all genres as they boost my creativity, but of course I’m a huge on HipHop lol. I have been teaching myself the past two years mastering my own songs on Fruityloops studio. Not perfect but I’m damn better then Landr and I bet you are too. Landr is just AI tht really isn’t tht intelligent when it comes to leveling sounds because in logic if you think about it it’s all it’s going to be capable of doing considering it is a bot and your importing one audio track instead of having all your recorded audio stems mastered. I’m still going to keep teaching myself maybe I’ll find a studio or someone to eventually master for me but I’ll keep doing it myself I’ve tried dif people and they always mess my sounds up lol
One can't make such critical decisions in the same room one mixed a song in {much less if one used headphones} then expect that LANDR will somehow improve upon the result with their new, silly preview option that gives one a few more frequency response options. The day one understands a few simple concepts about mastering, is the day one can consider oneself an audio expert. One will continue to make mistakes and waste time until then. I recommend you read an article I wrote back in 2010 published at the Mastering Directory : musicmasteringonline.com/understanding-mastering/ YMMV and good luck,
Mastering is often sent to a separate engineer who can listen in a different environment and give the finishing touches to a mix with their own sense of perception. Mix engineers can often master the songs they mix, but they run the risk of making undesirable decisions that a master engineer may not.

Thanks for making this video, I didn't know about this service but I'm going to check it out right now. Your track sounded great too!
Its good. I used it today.
Can’t wait to be on there platform
I was just thinking about mastering so this perfect! Thanks, my dude 👌

I believe I did this just the other day and it worked fine. Gotta be an issue on their end. Hopefully you can get it resolved!
@@cThreep they said they were going to check today. Fingers crossed.
Still not fixed, almost a whole week. Cant release music until problem fixed
Update: issue with landr folders fixed. I think next time they are going to work faster
It’s your job to make it a perfect mix before you give it to Landr...it’s all on you 🔥
True
I needed help with this. Thanks C-Threep
Sure thing, Timmy.
they took my original and altered it to make their version sound better. frauds.
@neonn hes saying it made they altered the original to sound worst than before
Price per track?
Regarding individual audio tracks beside getting a song mastered where should I have each audio track set -6db, 0db??
-6 has been the sweet spot for me.
@@dimedrey me too

This is the type of thing that would make boomers with huge mixing consoles really angry.
i know this is 4 months late but, is something wrong with the site, because i cannot sign up :(

I imagine they do...I think their website has a chat where you can message someone on the spot

Why can’t a mix engineer do them mastering.

nice
Mastering quality aside, Landr has awful customer service and business practices. If nothing else, I'd avoid them just for that.
They are horrible. They took down all my tracks without warning and kept all my unwithdrawn revenue. They won't reply to me now either.
@@Narcellie for real ?
Yeah from what I’ve heard about it being bad……Nah I’m good👌
i think yours was better also.
It’s sounds good it’s decent could be better
I paid for a butch of thieving
I used Landr and they are trash dude. I would rather use Dolby Mastering on Soundcloud.
cant stand landr, lousiest masters and they keep charging my account after i cancelled!
The mastering sounds terrible
always one
Brian Taylor sounds fine to me.
