  • Turns out a leather cylinder takes a little more effort than imagined. Add in some design and its not exactly a first timer project. The Biggest challenge is understanding the way circles work with a thick material like leather. Think about the inside vs outside diameter of the circle when sewing on the bottom.
Check out this video for a great lesson on the box joint.

Whow! So I haven’t made a video in ages. Baby, new house, hunting deer and ducks. Last time I checked I had 100views now over 6k. I’m astounded! I’ll try and get back to making more videos when the new house is set up. Thanks for the kind support

Thanks for sharing! As someone debating on buying materials to give leather working a shot, it's definitely interesting to watch someone who both knows what they're doing, but that isn't only willing to show their 'instagram perfection' face to the world. Super helpful to learn from mistakes that others may never show. Also, thanks for including so many links in the description!

I appreciate that you had the decency to speed the video through some of the processes, and love the comment about it being a "pain in the dick". I can't imagine using those rivets is very satisfying, considering how many I go through to get a few set correctly.
