  • In this video, Drs. Archana Patel, Lauren Sham, Agnieszka Kielien, and Leslie Hayes discuss the initial steps for seizures and epilepsy diagnosis, including the classification of seizures and initial workup. Upon listening to this presentation, participants will be able to:

    What about serum calcium level?? Should hypocalcemia can causes it , frequently or it's not common cause

      Hypocalcemia can cause it. Although, might not be frequent because in acute care, electrolytes are carefully managed. And hypocalcemia causes it by dysregulating Na+ Channels which causes abnormal firing up of neurons
