I JUST planned out a summer 2 day weekday trip to New York last week for the purpose of going to a Yankees game. With two days, including travel, you can imagine that my time is limited to see the sights..... well, the Ghostbusters Fire House was 1 of 3 sights on my must see list. So jealous you got to see it and I appreciate the coincidence that you were just recently there.
Thank you so much for doing Muppets take Manhattan. Soooooo thrilled! They have Piggie in her wedding dress at the museum of the moving image in Queens nearby. This vlog is literally made for my boyfriend and I he's a huge Ghostbusters fan and I'm a Henson Guru...thank you thank you. People's is peoples!
Thank you Justin, now I'm going to watch Ghostbusters again. Lewis saying, "I did a 20 minute workout on my machine and played it back at high speed so it only took 10 minutes. I got a great workout.", still sticks in my mind.
You know, I just saw the new movie trailer for Ghostbusters releasing for 2021. I gotta say, this generation loves to bite off of our old school classics. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and we had the best in music, shows, films, and a simpler life. Look at today, reboots, spin-offs, sequels, and why? Because today's generation lacks originality.
Awesome job Justin ...!!...years ago on a trip to the Big Apple ...went to the Tavern on the Green..at night ...and stood outside ..and could not stop giggling saying ..." Nice doggie...cute little pooch ...maybe I got a milkbone..."...love Moranis' Louis Tully ...!!!...lookin forward to the Plaza and Home Alone 2 stuff....Thanks Buddy
LOVED THIS VIDEO! Ghostbusters has always been a fave movie of mine and it brought me joy. Can’t wait to see more NY vlogs you have for us in upcoming days
Justin ! Quoting "The Muppet Take Manhattan " was awesome . I am 42 and I saw that film like 4 times at the movies as a kid. I remember my mom and dad taking me to Peekskill New York to see Ghostbusters when it came out. I was 9 at the time. Still one of my favorite movies. Very cool vlog. Thanks for the bringing back those childhood memories of some groovy flicks.
The Muppets take Manhattan is really one of my favorite Muppet movies. I can't find much about Pete's Luncheonette either. Only that the exterior of Pete's Luncheonette was used in the pilot of Seinfeld, before Monk's café was their hang-out.
Always a busy day in NYC! So much to see, so many film locations. Although a Ghostbuster fan, My ultimate New York movie would be When Harry met Sally. Your last shot appears to be where brides are dancing in Enchanted...
Really awesome video, Justin. I love seeing my home-turf through your lens. And I really love the foreshadowing, can't wait to see what else you've got for us from NYC!
I did a similar trip to see the ghostbusters fimiling locations back in 2015 from firehouse to 55 central park West. This awesome video helped me to remember that trip. Well done Justin.
I love this video! I live on CPW (25 blocks north the spook central) and every time I pass by the 55 I think of Ghostbusters! BTW, the firehouse is now without scaffolding and can totally be seen. Also inside there is a HUGE Ghostbusters logo, it's awesome. When you are there and you find yourself starving, go to Walkers, which is on the other side of the street: the burger is awesome!
Muppet/Seinfeld trivia: The exterior of Pete's Luncheonette was used in the Seinfeld pilot episode. Jerry and George hung out at Pete's Luncheonette BEFORE they started hanging out at Monk's Cafe!
Hey Justin ... big fan ... I have been chain watching your channel. After watching it got me revved up and now I just booked Walt Disney World for the first week of July!! My son is 2.5 and he has never been and we haven’t since 2010!! Anyways keep up the funny videos and hope to see you guys in July maybe? Later bruh
Loved this video so much! The Muppets Take Manhattan is one of my all-time favorites! I'm gonna have to visit these spots the next time I'm in New York!
Ghostbusters!! One of the first movies I saw at the theater! It started my love of all things paranormal. 😆 I would definitely rather have the Ecto-one!
Awesome. The library lion statue appears prominently in Splash too. As an 80's kid, if I ever did a New York filming location vlog, I'd do Fame, Splash, and Madonna's Papa Don't Preach. ps. Of course I remember the Muppets Take Manhattan!
If there ever was a reason to go back to New York - Ghostbusters filming location. I had a big grin on my face the entire time of this video :D As for which vehicle, I'm gonna toss in the Bluesmobile from The Blues Brothers, but honestly ECTO-1 ALL THE WAY, DUDE!
Hi Justin I have been a fan since I was three and I am ten I have watched all of your videos even all of your music I have your Merchandise I love you so much
If you have some time, you can check out the Jim Henson Exhibiton at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria Queens. A lof of the original muppets are on display. Last day will be March 31st sadly. Short train ride from Manhattan.
This is so awesome I have visited the Seinfeld diner as long as all of these Ghostbusters locations. Let’s just say I’m a fanatic. It’s so awesome to see you there. I’ve been waiting for someone in our circle to revisit these locations. 🕶🧢
I love this!! I had the proton pack, too! It took forever what seemed like forever to save up the 20 bucks or so it cost lol! I wore that thing everywhere except with the foam stream lol! :-P
Dear Justin, you have not done your duty if you have not had food and hydration all day lol. NYC has awesome food - hope you enjoy some of it while you're there! PS. This was a great tour and I honestly forgot you were in caffeine free mode until you mentioned it!
As someone who worked for the New York Public Library for nearly 16 years, it's worth pointing out that the downstairs scenes were filmed at Los Angeles Public Library.
The 80s car question is a tough one but I'm leaning towards the Ecto-1 My parents were living in New York in the early 80s and actually saw them filming "Muppets take Manhattan." It was the scene where they were all running around looking for Kermit.
I think you pointed this out in a previous video but you see these locations and they seem gigantic and larger than life but when you actually visit them or I can tell from this video it’s seems smaller. I got this same feeling visiting the Chinese Theater area in Hollywood.
My mother actually saw the ghostbusters fire house when she went to New York City before I was born I wish I could travel back in time to see my mother when she went to new york
I remember the spook central is where Buddy and his dad exit in and he catches a cab, I think in Elf. The commentary mentions that it was the same building. :) oh and BTTF DeLorean at the end of part 1 with Mr. Fusion!! :-D
Justin..now you have to do the LA Biltmore. I'm gonna stay there in June. Lots of history in there, including the Bilmore Bowl, at least what's left of it. Where Walt was awarded his special Oscar for Snow White. Also, where Ghostbusters scenes were filmed. I'm sure you know all of this already though.
Love this. All the stuff you're talking about is basically my childhood in a nutshell, too! I think I'm two or three years older than you. [EDIT: Oh my god, I'm an idiot. The first time I was in NYC, I was taking pictures of that church with the red doors... and didn't even realize what the building next to it was... *facepalm*]
I never seen Seinfeld or Ghostbusters, but I watched that anyway for the sightseeing. I never knew New York had so much awesome architecture!

Watching during Quarantine, and seeing all the places i normally see while in my way to work in Manhattan. Awesome video Justin!
Thank you Justin, now I'm going to watch Ghostbusters again. Lewis saying, "I did a 20 minute workout on my machine and played it back at high speed so it only took 10 minutes. I got a great workout.", still sticks in my mind.
"Nobody steps on a church in my town!" Kinda surprised you didn't mention the church right next door. 😊
I loved NYC when I went. I have a picture of me outside Tom's Restaurant. I would love to go back one day.
Im glad I grew up in the 80s. We had Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Goonies etc. Kids today have...um...Logan Paul. Sad.

Love how they are restoring the old firehouse. Meaning it will be around for years to come.
I went to spook central in November ! The guys who work on the door at the building are great, full of info and happy to talk. !
Always a busy day in NYC! So much to see, so many film locations. Although a Ghostbuster fan, My ultimate New York movie would be When Harry met Sally. Your last shot appears to be where brides are dancing in Enchanted...
Rad to see you did the Ghostbusters tour! I've made the pilgrimage myself back before they put up the scaffolding. It's my favorite movie of all time!
Awesome vlog of 80’s movie goodness! Loving all the filming locations! btw- I’d take the BTTF DeLorean #timetravel
Really awesome video, Justin. I love seeing my home-turf through your lens. And I really love the foreshadowing, can't wait to see what else you've got for us from NYC!
Great video Justin. Hope you enjoy your time in NYC.
I love seeing your videos because you get excited over everything and it's so great to see positivity
I did a similar trip to see the ghostbusters fimiling locations back in 2015 from firehouse to 55 central park West. This awesome video helped me to remember that trip. Well done Justin.
Thank you, Justin, for a crazy jam packed new york special vlog. Enjoyed everything, cool vlog.

ps. Of course I remember the Muppets Take Manhattan!
A most Triumphant Vid! Can't wait for more NY!
I was fortunate to see the firehouse this year without the scaffolding
the church next to spook central is the church where Pete says "nobody steps on a church in my town!!!"

Great video, love seeing this New York stuff :) Will you be taking a trip up state? Keep up the good work.
Been to Toms diner (at least that’s what I call it) 3 times. Great food and easy access to the subway. :)
2:10 there’s a replica of that in the ghostbusters adventure world in LEGO dimensions
If you have some time, you can check out the Jim Henson Exhibiton at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria Queens. A lof of the original muppets are on display. Last day will be March 31st sadly. Short train ride from Manhattan.
Schweet vlog! 80s forever! And I look forward to the home alone 2 vlog. :)
Awesome video Justin
So good. Keep up the great work!
Muppets Take Manhattan is the unsung hero of the Muppets franchise!
This is so awesome I have visited the Seinfeld diner as long as all of these Ghostbusters locations. Let’s just say I’m a fanatic. It’s so awesome to see you there. I’ve been waiting for someone in our circle to revisit these locations. 🕶🧢
I would use the Delorean no contest the other two cars are supper cool but the Delorean is a mother effin' time machine man!
I love this!! I had the proton pack, too! It took forever what seemed like forever to save up the 20 bucks or so it cost lol! I wore that thing everywhere except with the foam stream lol! :-P
When I think of New York, I think of CBGBs and Studio 54

I still have Muppets take Manhattan on DVD!
Dear Justin, you have not done your duty if you have not had food and hydration all day lol. NYC has awesome food - hope you enjoy some of it while you're there!
PS. This was a great tour and I honestly forgot you were in caffeine free mode until you mentioned it!
Love the filming location vids you do
As someone who worked for the New York Public Library for nearly 16 years, it's worth pointing out that the downstairs scenes were filmed at Los Angeles Public Library.
I'm pretty sure he says that in the video.
That was GREAT! tHANKS SO MUCH!
The 80s car question is a tough one but I'm leaning towards the Ecto-1
My parents were living in New York in the early 80s and actually saw them filming "Muppets take Manhattan." It was the scene where they were all running around looking for Kermit.
This video makes it very clear to me that Justin and I are from a different generation.
Thought you were going to say McDowells! From Comming to America
I think you pointed this out in a previous video but you see these locations and they seem gigantic and larger than life but when you actually visit them or I can tell from this video it’s seems smaller. I got this same feeling visiting the Chinese Theater area in Hollywood.
Ecto 1 is the only 80s car I would have
Back to the future delorean of course!
My mother actually saw the ghostbusters fire house when she went to New York City before I was born
I wish I could travel back in time to see my mother when she went to new york
I remember the spook central is where Buddy and his dad exit in and he catches a cab, I think in Elf. The commentary mentions that it was the same building. :) oh and BTTF DeLorean at the end of part 1 with Mr. Fusion!! :-D
Somebody's getting married!!!
DeLorean. Always got to go with the DeLorean
Hands down- I'd be driving Doc Brown"s DeLorean!
Justin you should go to Rye play land in Westchester County Muppets take manhattan and Big filming location. BabeRuth grave also in Westchester.
I would choose The DeLorean all decked out!
Hope You get a chance to visit central park, and strawberry fields. Something I have never seen except in pictures, but not a good video of.
That was a fun one!

Love your videos and also your voice sounds like Tom Kenny the voices of all cartoon characters
Also, the basement in the library they encounters the ghost was shot in LA ;)
He said that in the video.
Delorian for sure!
