I love the video but I think you got a few things wrong. Drake grew up in very poor Caribbean neighborhood in Weston road . His mom wanting to desperately want him to get him out of that environment moved into a home just outside forest hill and rented a basement while a family lived above him 💚 . Tired of Drake grew up rich take
What is this? A town of 90000 to a metropolis of 3million and you are talking about having someone's back. It's pure logic, Toronto is an international city, what do you expect? People carrying placards to support drake. Compton is a small lower income town, there is going to be more coordination.
Recently, the Weeknd’s been acting like he was a rapper when he’s not even close to being a rapper he’s a pop artist, I bet I’m even more of a rapper than he is and I’m from the suburbs,I’m white, and the only song I’ve ever made was about my order at a fancy restaurant asking for catfish and relish on the side all I Gotta say is that the Weeknd gonna stay in his lane
I think it’s worth noting that Drake did actually grow up in Weston during large parts of his childhood, he moved to Forrest Hill when he was a teenager
Toronto is a city that goes out of its way to destroy and defund any instance of history, culture and art it has. There is no “Toronto” sound save for maybe 3 artists (that were heavily influenced by US artists). The second a Toronto artist becomes successful, they leave to LA, NY or the UK. Compton has its issues for sure but it wears its (much deeper) history and culture on its sleeve and has legendary artists repping it to their grave.
The main difference between Drake and Kendrick is that kdot gave back to Compton and they love him for it. Drake does nothing for the city, except shout us out, and claims to be our god.. we don’t love Drake.
Oddly enough this beef made me appreciate and start listening to Drake much more. Although fan of both, I just realized how epic Drake's catalogue really is and now sort of dig it more than ever lol cannot deny the boy.
Drake will always sellout LA. It's just a matter of he feels like showing up or not. Ironically Drakes biggest backers have been black Americans, not those nerdy Torontonians.
Drake is now suing UMG for letting Kendrick calling him a p3d0 so I don't he will recover especially if he wins the lawsuit since it will show people that Drake is just someone who can't any criticism and plus there is a video of him years ago when he was still starting as an artist where he kissed a fan who was underage and it makes it worse that he was aware of the fan's age and still proceed to kiss her. And also he used to texted Millie Bobby Brown who was a minor at time which overall is very weird of him to do since he was already an adult when he was messaging her and also he was hanging around a girl who was underage too and waited until she was 18 to date her which just shows how disgusting Drake as a person.
yeah there is organized crime in toronto but drake has not experienced any of that shit mfer grew up in a middle class neighborhood. Meanwhile Kdot got thrown right into the middle of the poorest sector in compton
I think Kendrick outstrategized Drake and had the better song, but "Family Matters" was the better diss track. I also think Kendrick won the masses because Drake is a mixed guy from Canada, has been on top for 10+ years, and Kendrick is more likeable. If it was two dudes from the same city, like Nas and Jay-Z, or someone like Cole who is equally likeable, would the masses have sided with Kendrick? I'm not sure.
If you want to listen to good Toronto rap K'Naan is the man. He had to flee form Somalia due to the collapse of the Communist government and that was the start of anarchy government of Somalia.
Albertan here. Too easy to say f. Toronto. West all day, everyday. Instead of colonizing American music, Drake should replace Justin Trudeau. If the east has common sense.

@@OmarMohammed-vs6jl He didn't give rise to the weeknd, tory lanez, or nav. what you talkin bout? Take Care is not what made The Weeknd blow up. Plus, he has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Nav or Tory
@@goodguy-vl7jn thank youuu. I didn’t have time to say this but yeah.. the man is only for himself
thats why he talked about compton in Not Like Us
as someone from toronto, i think i can speak for most of us by saying we do NOT back up drake
hes on his own now
Nah, you speak for yourself
Speak for yourself, not back someone who literally put us on shoutouts us and donates and supports the city in general is the biggest bih move one could do
Drake would be Tim Hortons tho
I went to a future concert in Toronto and they didn’t play Kendrick’s part on like that because they thought we were gonna get mad
future was here? when?

An insanely good video for someone with only 10k subs, get this man to 100k NOW!!
As a torontonian Kendrick win this for sure
Rap Lore, the first breakout rap star was Meastro Fresh Wes THEN Kardi then Drake
I love the video but I think you got a few things wrong. Drake grew up in very poor Caribbean neighborhood in Weston road . His mom wanting to desperately want him to get him out of that environment moved into a home just outside forest hill and rented a basement while a family lived above him 💚 . Tired of Drake grew up rich take
As a Canadian, I would say Drake is Canadian Shame. He moves to Texas to prevent the high tax rate.
lol
As a Canadian, Kendrick won big time, even sent a local joint skyrocketing through tourism. Gotta hand that to him!
why the fuck is this instantly about race
The captions bro 😂
As someone from torornto go listen to Houdini (NOT THE SONG THE RAPPER)
I think it’s worth noting that Drake did actually grow up in Weston during large parts of his childhood, he moved to Forrest Hill when he was a teenager
Get it straight, Kendrick Lamar wrote his disses (no ghost writers) period. Best lyrics, best content and never diluted his verses. No fakeness.
That doesn’t matter music is global now. Kendrick has like a couple hits. Drake has kept rap alive for the past 15 years damn near himself.
Straight W!
im from toronto the weekend cant come back after the beef with drake
Drake is the king of rappers. He has the elite Jews. While Kendrick only has black community
People in Toronto catching strays, we never claimed drake, drake doesn’t NOT own Toronto
Drske grew up in western road
The biggest beef in hip hop history? Really ?? Really bro ???
I would say South Centra LA and Watts also support Kendrick
Drake will always sellout LA. It's just a matter of he feels like showing up or not. Ironically Drakes biggest backers have been black Americans, not those nerdy Torontonians.
NO ROUNDS 2s 🗣️🗣️
“Get more love in the city that you’re from 🥷”😭😭😂😂
Drake is now suing UMG for letting Kendrick calling him a p3d0 so I don't he will recover especially if he wins the lawsuit since it will show people that Drake is just someone who can't any criticism and plus there is a video of him years ago when he was still starting as an artist where he kissed a fan who was underage and it makes it worse that he was aware of the fan's age and still proceed to kiss her. And also he used to texted Millie Bobby Brown who was a minor at time which overall is very weird of him to do since he was already an adult when he was messaging her and also he was hanging around a girl who was underage too and waited until she was 18 to date her which just shows how disgusting Drake as a person.
Drake lived in the suburbs with his mother lmaob
Why did bro move to Texas💀
NO NO NO! This isn't about cities this is about BLACK AMERICAN culture and history vs Transplants and cultural transients.
Drake only claims if you knew the city you'd know we dont really like drake
Just trying to divide us. Kendrick never even been to jail . to my fellow whiites. There's no nobility in being black.
Hometown doesn't have to do with anything dude. Tyga is from compton and still got flamed by lil durk
Didn’t Drake just move to Houston and claim his second home? Nah we don’t want him
Rome and Carthage: You see this, this is really pathetic....
yeah there is organized crime in toronto but drake has not experienced any of that shit mfer grew up in a middle class neighborhood.
I'm not sure.
didn't you see how people reacted with 7 minute drill?
People were clowning jcole..why do you think he apologized
Kendrick more like soul food no?
That song kicks Drake in the teeth, Kendrick wins with Compton.
I’m from Canada I love Kendrick more krosky
If you want to listen to good Toronto rap K'Naan is the man. He had to flee form Somalia due to the collapse of the Communist government and that was the start of anarchy government of Somalia.
he's not a rapper
Drake is a force of nature stop being biased 😂
Its also worthy to note that Compton is a majority Latino city, by about 70%. It's been majority Latino since the 2000s.
the marker for toronto isint even in the right place
Ninjas really think Drake the biggest artist of our generation for no reason.... LoL Kendick music sucks. Always has and always will.
Wow 5:46
Albertan here.
Too easy to say f. Toronto.
West all day, everyday.
Instead of colonizing American music, Drake should replace Justin Trudeau.
If the east has common sense.
Issue is, y’all still vote for him even though y’all know he’s ass as a prime Minister
@stormmist3634 Unfortunately, that's for the idiot Torontonians to address.
Torontonians always decides and chooses who's gonna be in charge in every election in Canada.
To be honest how can you protect someone who has pdf allegations, at thay point you're just done
Allegations are that, Allegations! Just how it was alleged Dr Dre was a Domestic Abuser.
Drake ain’t it, never was.
Drake basically owns Canada
