The mod's end goal is to upgrade Yuri's Revenge without altering the gameplay beyond recognition whilst fixing the awful bugs and imbalances and adding the many new extensions, features to give it fresh look.

note: well when i modded an unmodded ra2yr i used navy seal frames edited them and made boris able to swim

I think I'll just make this an animation or a hybrid of the tile set. It seems too dark but its a good call to make an edit on the water tiles.

Why change the water textures with something worse? it doesn't fit at all with the game and I do not get why people here think it even looks remotely good at all

As much as I like the water effects - it has does not fit the style of the rest of the terrain. Making it look uncanny in my eyes.
