Not sure if anyone has said this yet but I believe youre supposed to dry your hair a little bi especially at the roots with the pre styler attachment firs then use the brush attachments
Just realized I had been using the wrong brush on my hair this whole time and that’s why I wasn’t getting the results I wanted! 😂😅😅 thank you for this video!❤️
YES MAMA. I have such curly hair and I know they say one can be used for curls but BOYYYY I would never dare put my shit on this because my hair eats styling tools 😂 but you know I support you 100% BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT YOURE DOING
Did you continue using the straightening brush regularly, and if so, was there significant, noticeable damage to your hair? I'm very interested in understanding whether it's sustainable to use this tool, weekly for a long time, without destroying my hair. Thank you for this.
I don’t use the straightening brush that often but I do use the round brush and my hair has never been damaged or dry feeling at all. Always shiny and nice! But I don’t do my every single day.
What about wavy hair? My hair doesn’t have tight coiled hairs but it isn’t wavy. I been debating about buying the dyson but I’m not sure if I should get volume or the smoothing kit. I want the volume because I wanna try the blow out brush head.
I bought the complete kit because it was only £50 more to get all the attachments so it just made more sense given I was pretty sure I wanted the soft smoothing brush, round brush and both sizes of curling barrels. Unfortunately every time I’ve tried the curling barrels they drop out within literally minutes! I think I need to play around with mousse or something but I’m not super clued up on hair products. 😂
Charlea that’s the same reason I got the complete because it’s not too much more for everything. I have a hard time holding curls too so I use a mousse and a volumizing product. I’m not sure if you saw my first video in the Dyson but it is link in the description so you can see the products I used and get something similar! Today I used different products from the video and it worked very well. I used the Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse and the Amika Un.Done Volume and Matte Texture Spray. I’ve had my curls since around 8 this morning and I still have loose waves and a lot of volume! I used the bigger barrels which gives me Victoria secret type waves lol
What do you think would be best to use if you have curly/frizzy hair, but super thin and fine caucasian. I haven't seen any demos with my kind of hair. Thanks! Nice comparison video.
Ally Katt I would definitely suggest the smooth and define kit if your hair is difficult to stay frizz free. If your hair blow dries straight with a brush pretty easily then the other kit would work fine!
Alexia M Thanks! Even after a professional blowout, my hair does frizz back up quickly in humidity. Otherwise no... My scalp is super sensitive like a red head’s. So I am going to try to get the complete set so I can try them all. If you’re going to shell out $500 what’s an extra 50! LOL Where did you order yours and how long did it take to arrive? Sorry if I missed that. Thanks!
Ally Katt that’s the same reason I got the complete! I either got it at Sephora or ULTA and it took about a week and a half to two weeks. I’m not sure if they’re still sold out though 😖
I’m so glad I got the Complete set because I prefer the soft brush as well as the round brush, which are otherwise in two separate kits. I also like having both barrel sizes. My hair is frizzy but thin so it kept slipping out of the firm brush and didn’t smooth the hair like the soft brush did. The soft brush also leaves a little more volume which I prefer to stick straight hair.
Thanks for the video! I am really interested in getting this especially for the straightening brushes. However, I’m confused as to which set to get as I have thick, straight hair but I like volume. The firming brush seems to flatten out the hair compared to the soft brush. But not sure if the soft brush would be enough to straighten out thick hair.Any advice?
Sing Gal if you like volume I would get the kit for thinner straight hair. The bigger barrels will give you beach waves at most (unless your hair holds curls very well). Or get the complete kit which has all the attachments and is only $50 more!
Alexia M Many thanks for the quick response.I am also thinking about getting the complete set so I don’t have any regrets later.Wondering if you’ve tried the Dyson hairdryer and if you think that would be better to get from a salon like blow dry perspective compared to the Airwrap?
Alexia M Nany thanks! May I please ask one more question? - How Long does the hairstyle last with the straightening and volume brushes?Does the volume die down the next day and do you need to use the tool again or can you afford to wait till your next hair wash? Thanks again for your feedback.
So wait the attachments are the ones for 60 dollars and their not sold separately so can’t get just the firm smoothing brush?!!!! I want my money back....
They have three different kits available. One kit for $550 has ALL attachments included and the other two have a mix of all attachments. If you buy one of the kits that is missing one of the attachments you can purchase the one you are missing on the Dyson site. Hope this helps!
Also wtf Dyson sponsor her!
why? and why did alexia pin it?
Your 1 youtuber that really knows what they are doing with the airwrap . The others have know idea on what they are suppose to do . Thank u
Now THIS is a proper review and tutorial. Appreciate how informative and detailed this was 💕
Your videos are by far the most informative on the Dyson Airwrap ! Thank you!
Not sure if anyone has said this yet but I believe youre supposed to dry your hair a little bi especially at the roots with the pre styler attachment firs then use the brush attachments
This really helped me, thank you ❤!
I truly wish I had your hair. So beautiful.. Thanks for this helpful video gurl!
Just realized I had been using the wrong brush on my hair this whole time and that’s why I wasn’t getting the results I wanted! 😂😅😅 thank you for this video!❤️
great vid - you have just helped me decide which one to get :)
Carly Natasha Scott I’m glad I could help!
You should try using bedhead small talk for volume.

Brooke Monroe 😂😂😂
How do you clean the caked on product off these brushes?

@@AlexiaM thank you! Do you use it weekly? And what’s the heat setting you choose?

It will definitely work for wavy hair! The blow out brush is my favorite attachment.
hi what do you recommend for me? I have very dark brown hair that's is dry, frizzy, wavy (loose waves when brushed out), and thin.
That’s so strange that all the extra attachments are $50 in the US. In the U.K. the brushes are about £32 but then the curling barrels are £60(!!!)
I bought the complete kit because it was only £50 more to get all the attachments so it just made more sense given I was pretty sure I wanted the soft smoothing brush, round brush and both sizes of curling barrels.

You’re so beautiful and awesome tutorial! Very thorough
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
Anyone else feels the brush head shakes as if it would unlock when using it or is mine defective?

Sing Gal I’ve never tried the Dyson hairdryer but the round brush attachment on the Airwrap gives a great blowout!

Sing Gal it really depends on the products you use. I use volumizing products.
@AlexiaM Do you remember what lip product you wore in this video? It's such a beautiful nude shade!
I’m almost positive it’s the shade Buffy by LimeCrime!
Thanks so much! 😊💜
No problem! I definitely need to link everything I wear in videos from now on lol
I cant figure out how to get some of the attachments on! Ugh
They should just snap on. I hope you figure it out!
Omg it was a disaster! I had pieces from 2 different models!! Had to return it.
I could have spent it on my other contact lenses 🤧

Did you even buy it, since you seem to not know the smallest detail and you are throwing weight about wanting your money back
@@jeetujoy1635 Exactly, haha
