I'd agree with Alan, plus the Trafic / Vivaro/ NV300/ Talento is a tad bigger inside. Not forgetting that the Transporter is 2004 design and showing it's age.
Vivaro/Trafic/Talento/NV300 is a much better choice than VW in that size van not only because of the price and maintenance costs but also because of the boxier shape that makes them easier to build and more spacious after you apply insulation and paneling. Even better if you want something more spacious is a Ducato/Jumper/Boxer L3H2
Well done. I'm not sure where I would start with a conversion of my own. Quick question though (and I realise you probably don't have the van any more) but did you get a gas locker for that canister? I couldn't see one.
What do you want 60kg of batteries for? Indeed what do you want any extra power/solar panels for? We carry a jump starter pack £35 and have only used it once in 3 yaers. That was when I was watching videos for 3 days in one place..
What type of van do you think would be the best for a conversion? Ive heard that the VW Transporter range is very popular?
Vivarao/Trafic, VWs are expensive to buy and service, the price for being "trendy" I guess.
