Paints used to complete the resin statue were a mix of vallejo acrylic paints, Army Painter Speed paints, Vallejo Xpress colors and Citadel Contrast Paints. These paints are popular among the slapchop painting method where it is a variation on zenithal speed painting.
The Iwata eclipse airbrush was also used to create smooth blends and glazes for this concept art.

you do all of this with 1 hand? wow
This is incredible! Don't sell yourself short. I think you have an incredible eye for color, highlight/shadowing, and texture. 10/10
Thank you so much!!
True, and our man is hella underrated!
@@NightTheChosen you're too kind! thank you
That stained glass is incredible! nice job!
Im going to use this video as a referance for my first 3d print paint job, black latex seemed too difficult til now. great video and great music choice
latex is pretty simple right?
No lie everything that you did, would have done! I hope you win bro 🎉
I hope you win
Great job with this, good luck in the contest! I really enjoy the format of your videos 😎
thank you, i try to keep it nice and short so it won't get boring
Love your style of painting and process! Great work.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Much appreciated
Love it, looks amazing
wicked work dude!
Dude! Beautiful as always! The idea to have the light hit one side was sick! Also the window...my god bro u have the patience of a saint to do that! Lol! Everything u did was just beautiful! Keep it up bro u will be a great artist just u wait!
When I started painting the window that way, I felt instant regret. 😂
@@TinyLittles3D would resin make it look more like glass if u added that to it?
You did an excellent job mate. Looks very nice
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks awesome 😎👍🏻
Really cool paint job🖌
Thanks 👍
Awesome job homie wooow.👏👏👍👍
Top job - good luck with the contest
thank you!
I recently discovered the "use contrast paints" as way of enhancing base tones, by spraying some Mystic Blue from Vallejo over a layer of Royal Blue. Made a military outfit really "pop" and added a lot of depth to it.
ya, there's so many different ways to use contrast paints. I love them
Only 8k subs!?!? You deserve a whole lot more good sir! you are super underrated! glad I found your channel :)
Welcome aboard!
really cool !
Excellent work
thank you!
Another piece of EyeCandy👌 there my friend😉 And I love the production🔥🔥🔥 Some really great video shots & lighting. (I know it takes a long time setting up, and painting at the same time) You just get better with every video. And don’t worry, you’ll easily pass well over 10k subs before you know it. Have a great one, cheers😉
thanks for the encouragement, and yes. It does take a long time to shoot. Changing the camera angle and lighting for different shots
This came out awesome. I've almost finished my entry. Haven't got a hope in hell of winning but I've got an awesome figurine to show for it 🙂
Best of luck in the contest 👍
Sometimes we do these stuff just to challenge ourselves and for the love of the hobby, am i right? Thanks and good luck to you too!
Nice work, I am looking at getting into air brushing my prints as well. I am an experienced spray painter from my younger days, Mainly with motorcycles, This was a very good video showing details and your vision. Well done friend
airbrushes are amazing. Can't paint without them
Incredible.
Great work. Great video. I love it.
Thank you! Cheers!
fingers crossed for the contest!
thank you so much! I love your content! learn a lot form it
Amazingly talented here
thank you!
Great work! I think your highlights were subtle but the finished product looked wonderful. What is does your lighting setup look like for those final shots?
Hey there! I actually just watched your video on Magik earlier, great stuff! We can discuss the video set up in my discord if you would like, hope on there and send me a message :D
Looks amazing, gl on contest!
I'm not a pro by any means. This is better than probably anything I could ever hope to paint. So far be it from me to give you any pointers. That being said one thing I would say is the best thing I've seen for painting eyes is to add a small amount of uv resin to the eye and spread it with a toothpick before curing it. Oh and I would have given the cat slimmer pupils. Otherwise amazing!
I'm always open to constructive criticism. And yes, I did see people doing that. Not sure why I haven't tried that myself yet😅
Good job, it looks nice. You should add gloss to eyes instead of those white dots.
I will try that
wow looks so much better than mine! Great job!
Thank you! 😊
Really nicely done dude!
The result was awesome, but for the first time I've seen somebody painting eyes like that. Eyes are always the biggest problem for me.
I've bought some of leather punchers set to keep the eyes marked on the model before i start painting. It helps to set them on the right position on the model (to look left, right or straight).
Then the colour of Iris and at the end, I use a toothpick to get a small bit of paint and place it just in the middle, as brushes has this weird tendency to change shapes when u press it a bit too much. For a white dot reflection I use sharpen toothpick as well. Thanks to this even on the small piece u can achieve perfect round white dots and it's worth to experiment with 2 or 3 dots next to each other as a light sources may vary depending on the surroundings. Worth trying, it helped me much as my hands are not that steady as yours :)
I forgot to mention how good this model was done by your printer and settings. I'm ordering some from my lads but it never went as close as yours even if they have newer printers than yours! Amazing work with this man. Do U have any video or clip of how U do that?
Amazing job
Thanks!
thank you!
Im impressed you can use airbrush without booth.
i'm told that a lot :D
Very sexy model and a great paintjob!
I would have liked them to show the paint pots you used in each part or names so if I liked the color I would buy it or if I wanted to make the same figure I already had references
I mix my paints a lot, so it's not that easy to showcase it
i really like the way you paint and you show the steps what you do with skin. i'm right now practiveing on female skin painting. and i think its really dificult to do so. how ever i dont have a 3d printer. so i cant practice asmutch as wantet :(
hopefully ill see more in the future :D
Good Job.
Im gonna need you to do Orchid or Thunder from Killer Instinct, and then sell it to me.
I notice you don't use a booth with a filter and fan when airbrushing. Is it fine without one? Do you have good ventilation in that area?
This is going to help me out a lot skin is pretty hard for me. Ohh can you do Raven from the teen titans next?
I'm glad it was helpful. As for Raven, maybe later in the future. Got quite of other work lined up
My man What do you uses for Adhese as Working a Model and watch I uses makes a mess also Great Black Cat I am Printing V1 of her
I use gorilla glue, which is basically super glue or CA glue
2 part question: So sanding is necessary always before applying primer and paint? If so. What grit needs to be used?
I go from 400 to 1000
I moved away from milliput on resin prints to use the printer resin mixed with baby powder. Loot studios has a really good video showing how to use it. It is extremely quick as with an UV torch immediately dries and you can move on to the next session. One of my models for a client was a Malenia figure - the mini was about 30cm high and about 40cm wide due to the wings. On the first iteration I had to cut the wings into 2 parts and connect everything. I ended up gap filling and pegging parts with clips for about 8h-s with additional wait times for curing costing me about 3-4 working days.
The second time I printed it for an other client, I used the method by loot studio and ended up doing it in about 1.5-2h and I did not have to wait at all - after washing it a bit and drying it with a hair dryer I was able to immediately prime it.
I wish I had known about this sooner! If you have the time look it up and try it out! It is also way easier to work the mini afterwards as the filling is the same material as the mini!
I've tried gap filling with only resin before, but haven't tried it mixing baby powder. I've actually watched that video but just lazy to go and buy baby powder. I might give it a try once I finish all the milliput I got. Thanks for the advice!
@@TinyLittles3D I have a ton of miliput on stock - I stockpiled a bunch when I had some orders and it was looking like I'll be needing a lot :D I have I believe 6 "rolls" unopened and 2 opened. I use it for all kinds of household repairs now :D It is good for piping, fixing broken stuff :D I used miliput on the vacuum my wife broke, as well as used it on the motor housing for our automatic gates. We also used it to ad-hoc fix a leakage in a radiator. Don't wait for it to run out - it is a nice thing to have at hand. Baby powder can be acquired in any drugstore / drogeriemarkt / household whatever / supermarket :D Give it a go, you will be blown to smithereens I can guarantee that! It has a little bit of a learning curve though so be prepared. It needs proper work ethic - same with how you have to handle the printer.
@@HuntersOA but I only have that 1 roll to go through! haha But wow, it's cool to know that milliput can be so versatile!
why are you so talented.. i wanna be your cat

Hey did you have to print the models yourself from some kind of file? Or did you buy it printed? I'm trying to obtain one myself!
Also by the way, the painting came out SUPER well!
Hey there! I print all my models myself. The 3D model file format your looking for is .STL hope this helps!
@@TinyLittles3D Do you sell your painted figures? If so, how much? Id love to buy one from you I love your work!

@@TinyLittles3D I just hope you choose an incredible Cammy model
This is great
Looking at getting my first resin printer. Can't decide between saturn 2 or 3. 3 is about £40-50 more.
if the price isn't that different, i would go for the newer models. They can print much faster while keeping the quality
Just picked up my first resin printer saturn 3, not used it yet
Would you have recommended settings when I slice
Exposure times etc
How bad is resin with ventilation aside was thinking of putting in next to my bedroom.
With wadh resin what would you do with the water that you use to wash the resin as it says not to pour down a sink or drain

That's most strange...my file came out with the head attached to the body...odd...good job anyway
really? maybe you printed the full model version?
what do you mean this doesn't have millions of views???????? hello??????
i hope this comment comes true one day :D
What 3d printer are you using for these prints?
Elegoo Saturn 2
Anyone know where I can purchase these already printed? Don't have the space for a printer at the moment.
You can find sellers of 3d printed models on etsy or even ebay.
¿Como cuánto me cuesta esta belleza, y haces envíos a México?
I prined this model some days ago, and was not easy. I fear to ruin it painting it without airbrush.
Get an airbrush! Its a life changer!
i aint hearing no one out
Do you take paint requests/commissions???
Yes I do, contact me by email or dm on insta
