The vast majority of "rock art" on the Colorado plateau, and in the Great Basin & Utah Rockies has been missed by contemporary archeology and promoters of tourism, as is the case on these walls. While faint with great age, some glyphs & graphs are over 100 feet tall. Their style is unlike Fremont, Pueblo, Ute & Navajo art, and pre-dates them by thousands of years. They are "Desert Archaic," an overly-broad and lengthy, "junk drawer" classification who's loaded name even discourages inquiry. Barrier canyon, Glen canyon and Grand canyon glyph/graph styles are some of the more specific styles, but we have little idea of how many specific groups actually made them. Their most common images are skulls, decapitated heads, stacks of heads & skulls, ceremonial masks made from cutting the face away from the skull, birds of prey, dogs and fish.

Cops in Utah think Reefer Madness is real. They have a real hatred of stoners, they will steal your stuff and throw you in prison over things that only exist in their imagination.
