Great video, thanks. I can see this adjuster is for VW/Audi cars, so I looked at my Audi tt mk2 seat, and it's the same mechanism, so helped enormously 👍
I followed the step-by-step instructions on the service bulletin, No.:17-NA-198. It tells you how to repair the seat height adjustment in just about 5 minutes, without removing the seat. I wouldn't be making this comment if it didn't work, yes it did work i'm now enjoying the height adjustment seat on my Chevrolet Equinox. Before you go tearing your seat apart please check and read the service bulletin it will save you time and trouble.
thank you for the information video, my 2012 toyota carola, seat is down and unable to rise up . as Im a 5'4 ,and got the car from my family after my mom pass away..
Hi, fault on your seat is probably same as on this one but not as bad, so as in does heavy lifting of human, I think there is no real way to fix as again very soon will make problem or won't work always, so better find other seat which has good condition of it and replace. Hopefully all info is helpful
@@out_of_service5844 thanks for answer. What do you think if I try to put some kind of lubricant or WD40 in this mechanism without disassembly, will it help?
Thanks for the video mate 👍 Amazing job. Very helpful and very clear explanation. I damage couple of handles before to watch this.
