Thank you everyone for your Comments!!! To all my supporters I appreciate the words... For all my haters I appreciate the words... Drumeo!!! You guys are the BEST!!!!
Your the man Mr. Moore! big influence on my playing. Godbless you Sir!
+Brian Frasier-Moore
I'm a drum teacher from germany.
You are very inspirational to me, great to hear and see THAT high level of GROOVE, feel, musicianship and chops, thanks drumeo!!
I'll show the video to my students and see if they can grasp it.
Anyway, I saw you 2 weeks ago with Madonna in Cologne. I was irritated to hear only stuff any pro-drummer could easily deliver, too much sequencing and playbacks, at least it sounded and looked like that. Isn't that a bit of a boring job for you? Too sad Madonna doesn't let you out of the cage....
But, visually a fantastic show and great experience. Musically I loved the parisian jazz/chanson part!
Good luck for the rest of the tour!
Frank1979Zappa- What in the world do you expect for a drummer to play @ a Madonna concert? Serious every Madonna song is basically 2+4 & there's nothing wrong with that at all, if it fits her music that's awesome, the shows about MADONNA not the drummer! Nothing against Brian obviously, he clearly can RIP IT UP! But you don't "rip it up" in a pop song, if you wanna see that go to a drum clinic not a Madonna concert lol
+Brian Frasier-Moore Awesome drumming! I like the idea of changing up bar 3 or a other spots less expected... Going to try that out. thanks
Well said!
You can clearly see why this amazing drummer has been selected by all these world famous artists. Incredible feel, such powerful and dynamic playing, and while he has insane chops, they are so musically used, and they serve what's happening musically. Those chops are the saying something, they're answering the groove and whatever is going on musically. On top of the world getting the top gigs, and yet still so humble = Respect. Loved this lesson, thankyou.
Definitely true. Musicality always trumps technicality.

6:38 - Drum lesson!
34:21 - Song "Tribal BFM"

+drumeo I was wondering why I couldn't download the grey area MP3 track on the website?
Drumeo PLEASE get CJ Thompson on Drumeo!
Man, I couldn't take my eye's off his hands! He has so much control of the drumsticks and bounced each stroke to the same height (per note value) no matter what he hit. So amazing!
I think at the end of the day you can watch all the instructional and clinic videos you want, and it'll still come down to applying yourself to finding out what works for you. It's fine to try and emulate others, just don't get stuck there if you can't pull off a specific groove, it'll come around later eventually, with practice, a lot of practice.
+Leo SigloXX
A very good point - thumbs up \m/
+Leo SigloXX Drumming up to a certain level is emulation. That is how you learn what works. For me it is also fun to experience the groove and dimensions of musicality that went through the drummers mind when they create the groove.
+bowser8375 Its hard to find your own voice when you have no idea of other peoples voices on their instruments. Like you stated, if you imitate a certain drummer(s) you start to find what you like and what you don't like. Its awesome seeing 10 different people playing the same thing yet all of them having a slightly different vibe.
+Leo SigloXX Totally agree man... I've watched loads of videos my whole drumming life.. whatever creeps into my playing or sticks in my memory eventually comes out, is played badly but gets refined over time. I never printed out notation or anything like that, just enjoyed watching and took what I wanted from it.
"Play a basic beat and build on it' , says Dave. Plays some crazy world beats groove, this man is insanely good.
Brian Frasier-Moore is a great drummer. Congrats DRUMEO!!
The sound of those TOMS! love it
Dude is a living metronome
this guy is a master.
He's like one of the few that I watched from start to finish. Great!
I love watching Brian develop the chops. When he starts with the simple groove at 16:24 and builds it up his process is clear. He incorporates so many new ideas and stays groovy as all get out the whole time. Thanks Drumeo and Brian.
Monster player. Humble human being. Musician all the way. Wisdom packed lesson.
I now know where Spanky got a few of his concepts like the snare + kick.
Great groove and personality !!
First saw and heard Brian on the Janet tour, All For You, live dvd. Just so top level, incredible groove and time. That band and the live recording is still one of the most funk, killer productions. Love his playing!
This guy is absolutely amazing. I have fallen in love with his drumming. I can feel his intensity through my screen and speakers. Simply brilliant. Thank you Drumeo.
Brian Fraiser-Moore is a legend in the game! Great lesson
This is the type of stuff that Steve Gadd does-- simplistic drumming that becomes complex within its own simplicity. I LOVE IT!!!!
Man! I just learned about this guy. He’s giving away gold here. I love drums, play bass. 40+ years. I’ve heard things here that I never thought of! Thank you!
ABSOLUTELY GREAT LESSON!!!! Thank U Brian & Drumeo
I love this dude one of the hardest working drummer in the business
I love his playing style. I can't quite describe it, but its like punchy and delicate at the same time. So awesome
One of the most inspiring things I’ve seen lately! What a humble legend and incredible player.
mother of all that is holy this guy hits hard.
Groovational Fluid Dynamics is what comes to mind...absolutely phenomenal! BRAVO!
Who has time to dislike these videos? This is such a great lesson, for free! Thank you Drumeo! Thank you Brian Frasier-Moore!
Amazing tutorial. I've already started practicing these things and I'm really enjoying it.
I really enjoyed his philosophy on chops within a groove. Thats really cool stuff that Id like to do more of.
Minimal talk paired with consistent playing is the perfect mix, thanks
one of the best lessons i have seen. It shows musicality and being free and human. It maken believe in one self. Thaaanks!!
BFM is the meaning of a PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN. GREAT LESSON!!!!
I like the last song, very musical. Brian's playing is so expressive and dynamic, gotta love it!
Amazing work as usual! Thanks for posting this, Drumeo!
this guy is leaving me speechless ... awesome drumming, mindblowing! Love It!
Amazing blessing drummer... very inspirational Thank you Mr Frasier-Moore God bless you
this is really a great lesson and what a great guy. I really like his approach to breaking things down.
His motion very powerful.
Master Drummer
Awesome, I really appreciate your flow and humbleness..
amazing sound Pearl Drums!thank )!
Such a brilliant drummer!
incredible playing. great concepts. thank you
this dude is so awesome, you can really see how humble he is. The way he explains things in this video might be hard for some people to grasp if they're more technically sound in there approach to learning. I come from just feeling the music and feeling the vibe so he spoke to my inner musician because i am so not technically sound. great lesson guys!!
Ah yes, I heard Brian say: "thank the LORD!". Yaymen!!! Those Pearl drums sound great, very punchy and focused.
The sound is great!
So clean!
Loved this one.
amazing great great drummer .very important lesson
ABSOLUTELY GREAT LESSON!!!!! Thank You!!!!
What an awesome drummer and a lovely person very humble and down to earth and he comes across so well I loved it drumeo
My kind of drummer right here!!
+Drumeo you need to get Matt Halpern in for a live lesson!
+ChipsNsalsa50 _ I second this.
amazing ! thank you!
Great lesson ,great drummer love his groove and not forgetting chops
What an amazing drummer! So groovy. Great lesson!
Those cymbals sound excellent, especially that ride
I've been following BFM since I heard him on Usher Live back in the late 90's. He's a HUGE inspiration to me.
same, I saw him with usher opening for janet
wow: that exercise at 14:20, amazing combination of innovation and perfect memory.
It's like he can instantly store anything he plays into muscle memory and repeat it exactly
Awesome lesson!!
that's my man!!! great lesson , thank you!
You definitely have blessed skills. I can sense that when I hear and watch you play. Thanks for giving this 38 year old new options in my playing... Opening new doors. Thanks bro!
he did awesome!
Thank you very much.
Nice one.
Awesome!
Its amazing when he played the kick-based pattern i thought it was very similar to Dave Weckl and 2 seconds later he said he was one of his influences. He's unreal
...great talent overshadowed by discipline and humility...take notes kids...
he was great enjoyed every moment , And he totally changed my life after hearing on Usher live CD. Excellent job Drumeo. Next can we get Chris Coleman.
What a killer drumer !!! So usfull and inspiering informations.
killer! it's this groove, as a "pocket player" with sweet riffs
awesome man, thanks, bblessed
Amazing!!!!
My first time listening to Brian Frasier-Moore - what a great drummer, but also what a great guy. What we'd call in England 'a genuinely nice bloke'.
I'm watching this in 2019 this dude is like the Morpheus of Drumming... "You think those are drums you are playing" Literally just freed MY MIND!
I play Drum's in Church, but also Congo's and Bongos at same time, while playing the drum's, but also in the street's of my Home Town, and Drum's Are Awesome Fun:-) :-) .
so fusion. sick record!
Great lesson by great Chanel drum
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
@17:00 that groove was super fresh! It's hard to use the cowbell well, and most drummers don't pull it off like BFM.
veryvery perfact good cool groovy hansome druming!!
L E G E N D !!! incredible Drummer ... big sound and great creativity !!!! TOP !!!
Watching Brian play is truly inspiring. The lesson was great, but seeing him apply his style and technique to his music justly showcases this man's talent for drumming. Impeccable timing, feeling and energy! Thank you!
great lesson, great drummer, this the real deal for pop solid groove gig, it reminds me spanky mccurdy, they have a similar way of thinking, both great, im not this kind of drummer at all, but i really enjoy listening to these guys, congrats Brian and drumeo once again!
Good stuff! Build up like a tidal wave!
bring CHRIS COLEMAN!!!!! PLEASE!!!!
Brian is awesome drummer and like his view on being a drummer.
This video is invaluable! Really cool concept. I've tried to apply this concept on the bass and on a cajon and it works there too. It really helps with learning to play out and finding new fills on the top of the head and still stay in the beat, given you practice over a click track. Finding voicings on the cajon feels a bit harder than on a drum set though. It's harder to keep adding new things every two bars and still keep the basis of the groove.
I swear he makes it look like the footage is sped up..
+Andrew Lund Yes, I noticed that too.
+Andrew Lund it actually was, you can tell by looking at the cymbals. it doesn't matter how fast you hit them they always settle gradually. this ones move weird
I highly doubt drumeo would actually do that.. Not sure why they'd feel the need, and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one feeling a little deceived if it were true.
+Andrew Lund It's definitely not sped up, he's just a ridiculous player. There are some video flaws in this one however; I'm seeing some glitches, like around the 6:18 mark you can see the glitch on Brian's face.
+leogartija Hahahahahaha!!!!! Funny
nice, thank a lot
Yo Brian,, your sick dude! Im gonna "borrow" some of that. Very useful and interesting stuff.
Please get Steve Jordan to do a lesson!!!!!!!
+Aaron Sayre Yes!!!!! Steve Jordan please!!!
+Aaron Sayre +1
The video on UA-cam of Steve playing Elvin Jones's cymbals @ Don Bennett's drumshop is sooooooooo amazing!
+David Cipolla awesome I'll check it out!
yes please!
really fast dude... awesome
i must say Brian has a rich african sound in his music especially the second track 6over8 i just love it!
The groove, the fills, the flow, I don't know: might this be the greatest drummer I've ever seen in my life?
Its in your life so why do you ask ?
Stupid comment
This guy is awesome haha
It would be awesome if you could bring Gavin Harrison !
+Tomé Silva absolutely! That would be awesome for Gavin to do a lesson on Drumeo!
+Tomé Silva YES !!!
+Tomé Silva YESSSSS
+Tomé Silva I'm pretty sure Gavin would refuse. He was asked about lessons and stuff like that before and he says he is a horrible teacher.
+Tomé Silva YES PLEASE! +drumeo Mister Gavin Harrison please!
I can see with BFM how arena chops are developed. You can't go crazy in an arena setting because it won't come out, it'll just be mush. BFM shows us how that's done without being mushy. What a great lesson and drummer!
Finally, an artistic use of the cowbell at 36:39.
fantastico
супер!Thank you very much)!
Those cymbals are fucking gorgeous!!! omg
