For context this is the O2 arena in London which has a 20,000 capacity, every seat was sold out in half a second when tickets went on sale. The arena was full with most people (like me) paying resale cost which for me was £410.
@@VictorNightroadthat's the bitter truth about scrappers. They want to earn mont by reselling and it's disgusting how they take that opportunity from others for a higher price.
Love your reaction, LOL esports is huge-many people don't actually play the game but always follow the esport updates. And their world championship has been a big event throughout the years, with people always excited about it!
I would really suggest watching the "MAKE THEM BELIEVE | T1 vs BLG: The Grand Finals | Worlds 2024" its the grand final teaser/story/cinematic they make about the two teams
So just to give you the numbers, in the arena was around 17k people and almost 7 million watched it online (not including China, so many more millions viewed from there).
Just for some background on as much as I know: The Songs: "Paint the Town Blue" - it's a new song by the artist Ashnikko; who is apparently a fan of the League of Legends character Jinx and it's been made at least partly for the league of legends Netflix series "Arcane." "Still Here" - it's a song created for one of the league of legends Cinematics (by the same name) that was released this year (You'll enjoy the cinematics, pretty much everybody does as the production value Riot Games puts into things is insane), sung by the vocalists FORTS & Tiffany Aris. Heavy is the Crown - one of Linkin Parks newest songs. Mike Shinoda is a big fan of League of Legends and I believe was approached about creating this song before Emily was even brought in. There's a cinematic musical video detailing the team that won last year (T1 from Korea) coming from their castle to defend it from the teams attacking them. T1: Speaking of T1 defending their crown, it was an insane run that they managed to get to Worlds, let alone the final. There are four chances to qualify from Korea because one of the other teams won the mid-year international event MSI. They failed to win the first three spots at worlds and got through with an insane qualifying in the 4th place knockout stage. Additionally T1 has had a really rough year; they're been suffering from cyber attacks from some unknown person/group, which has prevented them from training properly and participating in the the regional tournaments. Additionally their star (and to be honest, League's best ever) player Faker (who was the last person that was introduced in the walkout, you'll notice on watching it back the crowd goes much louder for him) has had issues with his hand/wrist over the last year and a half. BLG: They also had a pretty insane worlds, I don't know much about their Regional run but they came out as the best Chinese team. They struggled to get through the Swiss stage and almost got knocked out multiple times. All that being said, I haven't spoiled the final result and I'd recommend you watch the series if you're interested - as it's a banger of a finals.
Thaaaank you so much for explaining about the track and sharing some insight around the players I really appreciate it ! I was wondering why for some track I get a copyright claim and for some no ! That explains it ! Cheers 🍻
I once was a professional gamer and we got like peanuts compared to what it has become nowadays. its great to see how big it is now and that it gets more serious recognition. back in the days people laughed at us, now theyre introducing gamers with linkin park. :P

If you think this is big, you haven't seen last year when it was held on a bigger stadium in Korea. I suggest you watch the 2023 Worlds Opening Ceremony to how massive the venue just to watch 10 players play the game.
@@VictorNightroad and if I may also add to your list the 2017 and 2018 Worlds an onwards in which are very iconic ones as well and but 2017 it is when it all started to put the opening ceremony on another level and one thing to watch for during the finals every year. Hope you enjoy the videos.
Exactly my niche of games, playing League, Genshin and HSR the most! I can really recommend watching the other stuff from previous years, Riot is much like Hoyo when it comes to their music never missing, both music companies that accidentally make games :D This finale was the most watched esports anything ever, with all streams outside of China getting to 6.9 million live viewers, estimates from China say 40 millions on top from them too

Good video my dude. If you like esports watch their documentary on faker. He was in one of the teams in the vid. Faker is the most famous and accomplished esports player of all time, quite inspiring and an icon for gamers and esports.
LoL has awsome Lore too you should look at that if you like Fantasy worlds. The Gameplay is also quiet fun. (Even after my i think abt 2.500h its still fun)
