I'm so happy to see you so invested on the esports side of League and especially T1. ZOFGK story really feels like the most anime sports story ever. Never being to truly win and constantly having new obstacles hinder them, but through the power of friendship they take on the entire LPL and finally achieve their victory. I still revisit Worlds 2023 and watch T1's run to make myself feel good
Zeus left in a very bad way, there's been a lot of drama over it and T1 lost a ton of money as a result. T1 has blacklisted his agency and is in the process of gathering evidence for a lawsuit. No one knows for sure why Zeus left but his agency was trying to play hardball with many teams, even teams from China, trying to get Zeus a high multi-million dollar salary as well as stipulations for his own personal branding. He ultimately decided to join HLE, another team in the LCK. Many fans are upset with Zeus, but some fans are also upset with T1 for failing to secure him for at least another year. What's sad is T1 said they will match any offer he gets from other teams but his agency ghosted T1 for some reason in the midst of negotiations with other teams. So T1 wasn't given a fair chance. T1's new top laner Doran has a history of performing really well until big tournaments where he seems to let his nerves get the best of him. He has a bad reputation as a result, but he's actually pretty good at the game. I hope this year with T1 will bring out the best of him.
We just for the few days know that T1 wont continue next year with Zeus at toplane, theres a lot drama going on u can search videos about it probably from Caedrel would be the best New toplaner for T1 will be Doran.
Just finished the whole vid haha, super glad that you watched this and enjoyed it! T1 is a very special team to me and to many of us and you're just scratching the surface when it comes to T1 content haha! I hope you'll react to more T1 and LoL stuff in the future. I'm also eagerly awaiting your Arcane reaction series :)
Thanks bro I appreciate you ! I was planning to do ARCANE this week but I didn't have time ! Most likely it will be next weekend as I can't find time next week because of work during the week ! Thanks for following along and Welcome into the fam !
just for context: drx is keria's old team and he just changed team to T1 and then he lost to his old team in the 2022 finals. So must be really rough to lose to all your old teammates.
Baron is a monster, it's the main objective of the game along with Elder Dragon, killing these type of monsters is really important since it grants you and your team great buffs to attack and push against the oposition. The crazy part and why people are so excited is that players that play jungle have a special spell called "Smite", this spell is very important cause it deals great damage to those monsters, sometimes you see enemy junglers stealing the baron with smite but what you don't usually see is what happened here, Gumayusi is the ADC of T1 and he stole that Baron from DRX.
yeah, the news of zeus leaving was shocking and sad. it feels like no one expected it, plus the dirty story with his agency adds drama. but t1 did everything to make the parting go on a good note and posted a memorable video on youtube "Leaving the Team, But Never the Memory". such departures from teams are normal in esports, but not for t1, i would say. well, let's try to move on, especially since doran is a great replacement. if we talk about the reasons why zeus left, i think it was partly because he wanted to learn something new, and partly because of his shitty agency. if he didn't want to leave at all, he could have stayed, and an agency wouldn't have hurt him. but since he is only 20 and spent all 5 years of his career in t1 (3 years in the main squad and about 2 years in the juniors), he might have wanted to try something else, somewhere else. i don't think it was specifically about money for him, t1 gives great conditions to its players and knows how to appreciate talent. it's hard to say, since no one said anything directly, his post was about regrets about what and how happened, but not about the reason.
The most painful thing about Keria in 2022 was that apart from losing to DRX, who was his old teammate. in 2022, among all the T1 players at that time, Keria was a player who was at his peak. He is the first Support to become the LCK MVP in history, all expectations are also focused on him and T1. Even predicted that Keria will be the 2022 WORLDS MVP :'( And surprisingly DRX the Underdog Team won the Final match. Honestly I hope T1 can become champion at WORLDS 2025 (even though it will be difficult) and Keria becomes MVP 🥹
Gumayusi really was a pillar when it came to T1. The synergy matters a lot, especially in these kinds of games. Them going back at it, this time literally cracking jokes, that relaxed them a lot. Took that presure of their shoulders and we started to see better results. Also, Keria after winning just screaming "Let's go NewJeans". Keria is a big fan of kpop and NewJeans are a kpop girl group that were scheduled to perform at the finals. Boy really wanted to see them live.🤣😂
That's why this 2024 is also a miracle. They fought their demons, they defeated geng in semis. As a fan I wanted them to win finals but knowing all the struggles the win was still unbelievable. My mind was saying i just want them to give a good fight but my heart was wishing them to win.
Here’s the chronological order of major domestic and international competitions last year. In 2025, there will be a new format. 1. LCK Spring Finals - Domestic only. (Winner is crowned as LCK Spring Finals Champion. Top 2 seeds qualify for MSI) 2. MSI (Mid-Season Invitational - International Competition). Winner of this year’s MSI automatically qualifies for Worlds, given that they will be able to qualify in their respective region’s Summer playoffs. 3. LCK Summer Playoffs - Domestic only. (Top 6 teams from regular summer split compete for the 4 spots in Worlds. Winner is crowned as LCK Summer Finals Champion) 4. Worlds - International (The conclusion of the League of Legends esports season. ……. Also, the focus is not really on the girl. It’s on the rose that she’s nurturing. If you looked in the cycle of the rose throughout the documentary, each phase represent a point or milestone in T1’s journey. They used a rose to represent T1, because the most beautiful flower is the flower that blooms after many twist and turns. Thank you so much for taking the time to know T1 thru their documentaries. ❤️🖤
Extra info about 2022 finals: Killing "Baron" Nashor (which Gumayusi stole) let ur little minions become bigger and stronger so it becomes easier to finish/defend the games. (T1 stole it, they simply prevented the other team from finishing the game after the teamfight they lost.) Killing that big white "elder" dragon gives u more buffs to all players in ur team so basically your team becomes even stronger and when you attack enemies, the dragon buff executes them when they are below %20 health. Elder dragon = winning the game most of the time if you are not too behind. (DRX got it, defended their nexus and won the game)
you have 4 major competitions in LOL ( I think this will change, they may add one more) 1.Spring split season (regional) 2.MSI (international competition, only two teams can qualify. The 1st and 2nd winners of spring season of each region) 3.Summer split season (regional) 4. Wordls (international, this may change next year due to changes in some regions that are going to merge with each other, i have not check these changes yet, but generally the region that won in MSI will get 4 seeds while other major regions had 3, this is because the MSI champions qualify for worlds)
I know it seems silly when they "fan" said she doesn't want to watch because she feels t1 would lose. I was in that position as well for so many series. 😢

Yup ! Now I remember , must be hard to lose or win against your old teammates !

If you noticed, the Faker call for ruler he was still in bot lane when he was calling the play he was calling the playing 2 mins early
11:55 Keria took it very hard because at that time he was called the best player in the world
I'm happy they got the chance together to win worlds , twice 😁

Thank you for continuing your journey on getting to know leagues players and league history. Especially t1.

For the lck(Korea) and lpl(China) they get 4 seeds.
DRX was the old team of Keria
You should really react to DRX: the rise documentary
❤❤
👍👍👍
their coach tom is also faker protege. kinda weird to call your junior your coach.
Tom role was Jungle bro
And he also older than Faker
