What's nice about the dongle is you can use the scanner software on multiple computers. When I had the HX, I could only use the scanner software on one computer...

Mine arrived earlier in the week and I'm absolutely loving it. I even scanned my wife just to test the infrared mode. One thing want to point out---I was using death grip because I couldnt find the wrist strap. I found it last night tucked in one of the marker boxes 😅. Thanks again!

3:50 I can tell you from personal experience you are misleading people if you say that the usb 3.0 connector and that round din connector aren't going to wear out. The contacts and the ports get so loose over time from having zero strain relief on the cables and those connectors just not being the greatest in general. Would definitely not use this without implementing strain relief. It's crazy cause this is a 17 grand scanner and it will cost your business that much in new cables and port repairs in a few years time.
