I think they are rather well known here in the states: they've been coming to Chicago and Milwaukee twice a year (St. Pat's Day and Irish Fest in August) for many years.
um, just to let you know, gaelic storm has been touring the united states since 2000. just an f.y.i. thing. (;o) quite frankly, i've never heard of another band to travel/tour as much as they have. really cool if you think about it. (:~D
