  • In this video I did a comparison of the Nutribullet, Nurtibullet Pro 900 and the New Nutribullet RX. I did different comparisons of the three machines. The first was the blade, second was leafy greens, third was frozen fruit and lastly peanuts.

Excellent comparison of all three. Very logical and thought out. I have viewed many different product reviews and you have by far done the best review. You have given this much logical thought beforehand and presented it in such a very good video. You have not left anything out to question and the video was not shaky, out of focus, or bad lighting. Great too that you mentioned a negative of the RX even if it was just a minor negative you did not gloss over any of the products trying to make one better than the other. Your comparisons were very equal and 'comparable'. Thank you very much.

Appreciate the comparison. I think you did an excellent job. I don't run my Nutribullet for more than 30 seconds. A minute is a LONG time and I don't believe most foods need that much time to blend. I also think running the bullet that long wears out the motor and blades faster!!

He's gonna burn that motor then complain ... "It's a piece of crap! Didn't last 6 months."
He was surprised they got warm.🙄

Great comparisons! I decided on the 600 due to your saying that the contents stayed the coolest! I don't want to heat up the nutrients in my foods...more oxidative damage. The faster the foods get whirled around, the greater the oxidative damage. You should be on the Amazon affiliate program, because I went straight to Amazon from your video and ordered the 600!

Thanks for video, however I would like to comment on a few points. I have all three machines, and find all are good but the 900 does a better job of extracting than the 600. The Rx does a better job than the 900. I have tested this with even the hardest roots. I you are using soft fruits it won't matter very much. the 900 has an improved blade, seal, and bearing design. I would also suggest using refrigerated cold water or add some ice. This keeps things cool and preserves more of the enzymes. I am impressed with how smooth the smoothies are with Rx regardless what I through at it. The main reason I bought the Rx was in hopes that it would blend up flax seeds with my smoothies better than the 900 and it most definitely does. I run 2 cycles and with very cold water it remains cool. Thanks

I agree David, I've been using the original NB for quite some time, and I recently bought the 900 and the RX. If I'm only making 1 nutriblast I use the 900, and if I'm making 2 at a time I use the RX. The RX liquefies the ingredients really quick and well. I don't have to use the full minute of automatic blending with the RX, and I use nuts, seeds, baby carrots, frozen fruits, and all kinds of harder type ingredients for 2 nutriblasts. I wouldn't use the RX for only making 1 Nutriblast just because it's quite a large size and I'm not sure if it does a better job with more ingredients to blend. I have to say, I'm very happy with both machines, and I did like getting the different books with each. If I was to recommend only 1 machine to someone who doesn't mind making 1 at a time, I would recommend the 900. For 2 drinks or more at a time, I would recommend the RX. Happy NutriBlasting!

That's great! I'm so happy with all of them really. In fact, I was just telling my Mom about them and how much better we are feeling just after a few weeks of daily NutriBlasts, and she asked if I would give her the 600 since I'm not using it anymore. No better gift for parents than something that contributes to better health! I told her all about them and said I was happily going to give her the 600, and the book and ask them to use it. I hope they do because it's hard to know that your parents are aging, and if we can do ANYTHING to help them, it's totally worth it.
I got the warranty on mine also, no reason not to. I use a little frozen fruit because we don't use ice cubes, and it works great also. Enjoy!

So far this NB RX rocks!
I've had it for about a month, not really going by any diet yet but plan to!
I bought it at best buy it was better than any internet deal, they had a online coupon for 20% off and when I went there I opened a credit account that took like 1 minute literally and I have not paid a cent for this yet & I've had it for about a month also zero interest for 18 months.
I did have to returned the first one I had because of the rubber gasket problem which I read about before I bought it. It shredded the gasket pretty good. I am learning why it does this. 2 reasons why I think it does this, 1 over filling the mixing container (it has a max fill line on it) & two not using the tool it comes with to tighten the blade unit down onto the container.
I over filled the current one I have and the gasket just came off it didn't shred thank God, but I did over fill it. You have to pay attention to the over fill line specially if you have heavier foods. I also fill with liquid up to line, I am currently using aloe vera juice & coconut water which is tasteless yet very healthy.
This machine is truly bad ass, it seriously pulverizes the food into a liquid, I've made smoothies in blenders in the past & also used juicers. The blended smoothies gets old quick because there so thick & the juicer you loose all the fiber & they are a messy pain in the butt to use.
This Nutribullet RX pulverizes the food so good its very much liquidy and real easy to drink and actually very tasty. If it's to thick ad more liquid to your mix.
I just throw in what I want & hope it comes out. I ad about 1/4 veggies to 3/4 fruit, sometimes I ad protein & oat meal if I am making it a meal. At least 95% of the drinks I have made have been totally awesome & I am sure if I start using recipes it will be even better.
The soup setting works very well, the soup is seriously hot in 7 minutes. I am still experimenting with this. The few I made came out kind of thick but I just added chicken broth after the blend was done & it was great I also added solid food & some meat & it was even better. There's recipes for soup in the book it comes with which many sound good & I will eventually be trying.
If your like me I was eating real bad, rarely eating fruit & veggies pretty much no fruit and little veggies. I was not really eating half the time & when I did it was burgers, fries, burritos or nothing & occasionally I'd eat some healthy food but not much & on top of it I drink so I knew this is not going in a good direction & I decided to try this NB RX with really no big hopes other than the really good reviews I've been reading for I believe the last year so I didn't jump on board right away.
Now I've been having a drink once a day for pretty much every day since I've had it and I do actually feel better and I am not even close to tired of these drinks there really good & very healthy & super easy to use I mean real easy & clean up is easy as well.
I've been having a egg sandwich with chia seed (suppose to be real healthy & filling) & a Nutribullet fruit (using chia seed in the NB RX will thicken the drink) drink in the morning lately & not only is it filling it is totally awesome I also throw down a few vitamins.
Now I just need to get off my lazy fat but & exercise & try to cut back on the drinking or cut the drinking completely.
All in all, so far this machine rocks, I feel better, I'm getting a lot of nutrition in my body & it is really good tasting & I am sure I haven't scratched the surface of all the other tasty things I can make with this thing.
I never right reviews about anything and many things deserve a good review I'm just to lazy! However I felt compelled to right it on this and look at the length of this review?
Also this is my first Nutribullet ever and as I said I really didn't expect it to be this amazing I had them blended thick smoothies in my mind and this thing is not even close to that, yuck! Just make sure to ad liquid & if you like it cold ad ice!
It's refundable you might have to pay return shipping unless you buy at a local store like I did. Just make sure they have a return policy and if you do buy it at a local store look for a coupon online. I am not sure if best buy still has the 20% off deal but if they do that's a pretty good deal specially with the 18 month interest free deal like I said I have not paid one penny yet.
I give this product a 10 out of 10 for sure!!!
Hopefully it stays this way & if it don't I certainly will be back!

I went with the 900. Its good a stronger motor that should last longer in my opinion.
I don't need a machine that speeds up and slows down. The 900 blends very well in about 30 to 40 seconds almost anything I have put in it.
I went to bed bath and beyond and with a 20 percent instant coupon sent to my smartphone , only paid $93.00.
The wonderful thing about Bed Bath and Beyond is if you hold on to the box and the receipt, you can return it years later if there's a problem!
So, if my motor should blow blowout, I'll just return it for a new one!
Since the 900 is fairly new, it should be around for a long time!
Honestly, I love David Avacado Wolfe and the 900 has surpassed even what I thought it could do! Extremely happy with this blender. Blends all my frozen fruits, nuts, oats, and liquefies everything! :)

I tried the 600 twice last year in about May. By June I upgraded to the 900 because both 600's just quit. I was quite impressed with the 900, and used it consistently without fail until the tabs got stuck some months later. Was told to loosen the tabs with hot water and a Qtip. Fixed that prob. But today the whole thing broke down again, this time it's not the tabs. I really love this thing though. So I will do exactly what Darlene will do, just return it for a new one! LOL They might get tired of seeing me return it, but NB will have to address there design flaws before they can TRULY say they're better than Vitamix. My smoothies turn out exactly like a Vitamix but I don't like the design or the cost. So if can keep returning it after it predictably breaks down, on average every 6 months, I'll be ok. By the time they fix all the flaws, they will cost as much as Vitamix. :) My sis has had her VM for five years? Never has broken down. That's impressive. You do get what you pay for. "As Seen on TV" isn't really the symbol of quality..... I DO love the NB though. Esp the 900. I've now purchased the Rx version. Only because I find the 900 to be a bit too small for 4 people family, unless ya make two batches, which is a pain. So this oughta be good size. Not looking forward to O-ring flaws and loose screws though..... BUT....that's why I'll keep the receipt and the box :)

Faisal Husain I ended up returning the Rx because it was too big! Yeah, you put your stuff in there and when you invert it to blend, the stuff stays stuck at the top. I tried the 'soup' thing, didn't really like it and felt using this method would kill this machine before it's time. Just didn't trust the Rx. So I returned it for another 900, and we're back in business. Really love the 900. I was told they did fix some flaws in the 600. But if you find it breaks down, just return it from where you got it and get another. I bought mine at BB&B and they said they will take anything back, be it 30 days 90 days a year or two years~ What? Wow....that's some customer service. Rare these days. Hope that's not a sign that they're going out of business! HAHAHA ;)

Has not let me down I can't believe what a great job it does! Just like the infomercial!
Turns everything into a juice, as long as there is enough water in the cup. $93 at Bed Bath and Beyond with the instant coupon, it's an awesome deal. And like I said in my other comment, you can return it at any time, even months or years down the road!

Hello I purchased 900 in Aug 2019 today not working. I also notice cleaning is not great. U have to take out the rubber seal everytime and bleach as the residue settles under the rubber. I also found that the 3 studs on the cup that fit in the grove 2 broke off and the other one wore out. A bit disappointed and it's really loud. I agree that is what it recommended with the RX or how long the first cycle last. I usually only do 30 sec or just enough for it to get blended well. The one minute cycle also makes the juice warm which is not good for the juice and I don't like warm juice.

I believe it is designed this way as I tried a Phillips screwdriver to "tighten" but it is already tight. There is a thin black rubber film/seal on top of the round gear recess area. Under the film is the Phillips screw underneath. You said your screw gets lose and you need to tighten? It seems like a engineering design flaw purposely put in there to gradually wear out? What do you think? Thanks. :)

+John Piper Question man is it the design cuz i got my mom one and the motor housing wobbles as well so let me know if its a normal thing or if i have to tighten anything

+Steven Brown I had to return 2 of my RX and finally got 1 I haven't had any trouble with. The company did call me and said it was just a bad batch. I bought all 3 from Macy's within a wks time. The screw kept working itself loose after 2-3 uses. I did wait until they got a new shipment before I returned the second one.

+Shannon Goldsmith i mean i'm just asking cuz i saw you wobbled the little motor peace and mines is like that as well i just want to know if thats normal because like an hour ago my mom was using it and i put the cup in the blender and it started blending then the whole thing started to shake and the cup was coming off the base by itself luckily i was there and i put it again and it did the same thing, and i took it off then my mom told me put the juice in the biggest cup and so i did and the machine worked pretty well it has always just this concern i'm worried about, my mom originally did use the little cup for the juice and when the blender was blending the juice did passed the cup's max line and i told my mom it passed it and that could of been or when i put it in the base it didn't lock in completely but i saw it and it was perfectly seated in the base of the blender it just started shaking and the cup started coming off the blender my guess is one of those those either it wasn't seated properly the first time or my mom passed the max line which i did see it was way off, because again we then used the biggest cup so on that one the liquid was barely half way perfect space on that one and it blended perfectly what do you think?

Thanks Shannon for your efforts, great job. I searched/saw your video after seeing the TV infomercial on the new NutriBulletRX late one night. Looks good, still thinking though cause i also looked on the internet on the new, smaller Vitamix S30 model...but of course with any Vitamix product one pays their premium price$$ so...? Gonna read more Reviews on the Vitamix S30 on Amazon.com a little more then decide. But still great job Shannon!

Hello are these good for juicing? Like a juicer? If so which one is best? Thanks

    • @OddLuck
      @OddLuck  9 років тому

They do leave texture to the juice. If you want juice like you buy at the store you should buy an actual juicer. If you don't mind some texture try a NutriNinja Duo. It still has texture it much better than NutriBullet. I find the Nutribullets leave a lot of bits behind. The NurtiNinja Duo does had texture too be no as bad as Nutribullets.

    • @OddLuck

If your just getting it for the nutriblasts I would go with the 900 if you want to make soups and use it more for cooking I could go with the RX. I like both and my primary now is the RX but I still use my 900 from time to time. The RX would be good for bulk nutriblasts at one time.

Nice video, I don't know if you can explain this for me, but i recently got a Nutribullet Rx, the updated one with the power button and the drain tube. The problem I am having is that whenever i am extracting anything on the Nutriblast mode, my machine only runs for 36 secs instead of 60 secs. And if i am making a hot beverage in the Souperblast mode, the machine only runs for 4 minutes instead of the seven minutes as indicated in the user guide and on the infomercial. I am wondering if they reprogrammed the machine or if mines is defective. I can't call customer service for some reason i can't get through to them, I don't know if it is because i am calling from outside the US or what. The machine works fine, its just the timing that is different.
I notice on your model ( the earlier 2014 model) it runs for the full 60 secs on the Nutriblast mode. The one that I have now, which is the recent model with the power button only runs for 36 secs on Nutriblast mode instead of the 1 min, and 4 mins on Souperblast mode instead of 7mins. I don't know what the issue could be, and I am quite worried and concern. Do you think it's defective or do you think it ok?.

Was wondering how many bananas you can fit in the RX. In the Vitamix you can fit 20-30 for a nice smoothie, but with the 900 I can only fit 3 or if I force it to I can maybe get 4-5 in there but its beyond the line, thus wears down the motor. The other thing I was wondering was how does it heat the soap, via steam, a heater base like a stove would have, or from the torque of the blades or? Oh one other thing is, when you call Nutribullet up, they say not to go past 20 seconds because it should be done by then and anything beyond that oxidizes it. But if the RX runs for a minute, and then 7 minutes for soup, thats about 60% oxidation for juices and all the nutrients will be gone with the soup from the vortex it creates that pushes oxygen into the fruit/veg. Thanks for the comparison video.

    • @OddLuck
      @OddLuck  9 років тому

Not 20-30 bananas for sure if you use the soup pitcher you could fit a lot more. I would say 10 with pushing them down. When making soup there is a button to push to activate it. I'm not sure how it heats up but it does get really hot.

i wish u did some more challenging fruits and veggies...like carrots and frozen fruit in the smoothie or even ice...that is the real challenge when it comes to choosing a nutritional blender. i bought a high end one and they can be very pricey...so if the rx can match what they do for 200 bucks or so then it might be a consideration for ppl. also i find if the part that turns the blade is plastic it can get stripped and eventually not work anymore. that happened with my ninja blender that u blend upside down like the bullet type. it wasn't anygood just after a few months because it was difficult to get it in the proper placement. i do use a cheap magic bullet for less powerful jobs like making whip cream, grinding coffee, flax or basic banana smoothies but for the tough jobs i have a wolf gang puck blender which cost $300, Canadian on sale at the time. still not bad compared to vitamix or blendtec. this new RX looks like it may be a powerful machine. the wattage is very high. and if the part that turns the blade is metal then its definately worth it. that all being said, i appreciate your review. didn't know there was the rx until i was doing some research on the nutribullet..then realize they have pro and rx out lol

I own a 600 and a 900 both are great. Nutrabullet fully states not to use ICE in their blenders. If you want the smoothie effect, use frozen fruit which works great. Great comparison, I'm sticking with the 900.

I want to buy a great personal mixer for myself, since in my house there already is a Vitamix and a Hurom juicer. I went with a cheap, crap Nutri Ninja that wasted my money. So I thought I can buy a Nutribullet. When I saw the Show, I thought the 600 was a great buy. But I saw more and more version. So, I tried to search online. And I chose the 900. It was a great buy. I want to recommend it to you.

The book sounds awesome, I love the one from the NutriBullet 600 also. I've been chicken eyeing the RX, I just like the big sized cups so I wouldn't have to make NutriBlasts one at a time. I have a hard time fitting everything I like to put in them into the 24oz cups. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to me to get the RX just for that matter, I do like to blend them a lil longer since I like to use many ingredients, and it would be nice to do enough for 2 NutriBlasts at a time. If making enough for 2 at a time, do you think the warming without using the "warm" feature would be a concern since it would probably have to run for a bit to extract a full load? Thanks for this awesome video and feedback, super helpful! :-)

It would be great if they made the juicing container out of STAINLESS STEEL, INSTEAD OF PLASTIC. The container is made of plastic and leaches chemicals from the plastic into the food, especially because when juicing the fruits and vegetables, the PLASTIC CONTAINER that holds the food becomes HEATED because of the SPEED of the blender tuRning so fast.
