- Hello & welcome to my channel! Today I will share with you how to make Pan de Coco bread. It's an easy and delicious recipe that you for sure will love once you taste it. Pan de Coco (Coconut buns) is a sweet & fluffy bread that is famous in my country ( Philippines) and is filled with sweetened coconut. Traditionally eaten for snack, breakfast or dessert. Perfect to partner with your coffee, tea or any drinks. If you love coconut, you should try this recipe. Happy baking!
Pan de Coco Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 pack active dry yeast
(mix & wait for 10 min)
3 ¼ cups All purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter
Coconut filling ingredients:
1 pack (454 gm) frozen & thawed grated coconut 2 cups coconut cream
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg to brush
sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional)
Bake in the oven at 350 °F for 20-22 minutes

Hi Radha Vivek, Thank you for visiting my channel. I've never used egg substitutes in my baking, but have found that bananas, dairy free yogurt, and apple sauce works from online sites. Hope this helps!
