this is really cute...I wonder how it would look if you took a very small balloon and made another very small bowl to glue to the bottom of the large balloon (upside down) to make a fun foot for the bowl. It would make it so the large bowl won't wabble all over the place.
Tari Huffaker Thanks! That's a neat idea! It doesn't wobble too much, but the foot would make it more sturdy for sure (& give it a fun look).
+Tari Huffaker haha I thought the same thing.. or maybe adding a templated ring of mod podge afterwards... ?? but this is turned out super cute.

I love your ideas for making the bowl with sweet wrappers. I am going to collect the wrappers my grade three kids chuck out and use them as an inspiration to show them how to recycle innovatively. Thanks for the ideas.
Awesome video. I love the tissue paper idea. Now I won;t have to paint my project. I will be making a large egg for my grandson with a stuffed dinosaur inside . It will be a gift along with a dinosaur quilt I am making him.
From my childhood I remember reading a book called "The Enormous Egg" About a boy finding a large egg and he takes care of it until it hatches. It turns out to be a dinosaur.
I was able to get this book on Amazon. Can't wait to make some really fun memories for my Grandson. FYI he will have to wait a few months before he opens the egg.

It's a cute bowl and to make it easier, put the first layer on pattern side down and then alternate between pattern up and pattern down. You will be able to easily see where you need to put your next layer to cover the previous one.
