If the citizens of California are going to have to pay more and have more restrictions , maybe they should have a public vote for Water Desalination plants . This would be unlimited water supply for California and relieve the burden on other states and the earth itself .
We don't need that. At least 80% of rain water in the state is lost because it goes into the ocean. We have plenty of water. We need to capture it and store it. That would give us enough water to make up for when we don't have much rain.
This woman states - "Some of the benefits are if you use less water, you pay for less water". Who believes that, especially after she says rates will go up for business and private usage? As usual, CA residents and business are being strangled by unaccountable bureaucrats created by Sacramento. My PGE bill has doubled in the past 2 years and we are using the same amount/month as we always have. Water rates in the Bay Area rise every year as is. Now, it looks like prices will continually rise year by year. The cost to business will be passed along to the customer, as well as lower rates to the 'poor' get added to everyone else's monthly tab. The Middle Class gets stabbed in the back once again. Sacramento is turning CA into an uninhabitable hellhole.

Basic economics is that goods and services must be paid for, thus when costs go up, consumers pay even if you use less as cost for that has increased
