Great video and smart direction. Note the limitation of the leechridden swamp requires you to have TWO black permanents on the board in order to activate. Thanks for a very helpful deck tech.

This deck is super interesting. The only thing that *could* be rough would be opposing thrasios‘s. I‘ve got the feeling that Thrasios/Vial Smasher might be a horrible matchup for this deck since they can convert the colorless mana pretty good, consistenly are able to deal damage to at least one opponent and at a certain point they just don‘t really care about spheres if they have like 15 mana sources on the field.
Interesting point. In those circumstances it's up to the pilots to play Belbe at the right moments. I think a lot people just assume you jam Belbe whenever, but it has to be at the opportune moments.
@@ComedIanMTG I agree but their cards seem to match up so good against yours. In a non-Thrasios meta this deck seems like a slam dunk. I feel like this deck is in a much better place rn than it would have been directly after the flash ban, where everyone was jamming thrasios grindfest.dec
I really enjoy the current cEDH meta, a lot more decks seem to be viable now than 6 months ago.
I love how this deck looks like an absolute garbage pile until you read the commander. Seems like a ton of fun.

I'm not at cedh player level, but have you considered conspiracy, metallic Mimic, and that one liliana walker that let's you cast zombies from the grave? It's a back up ballista combo line, and also empowers the shepherd of rot.
Also because carrion feeder could be your sac outlet and get infinitely large, rite of consumption in case a player gets cheeky and asks which order you ballista people to death with krosan grip/ stony silence (or similar)?
The thorn bow seems very meh, as elves are pretty common. However, with my above, crypt breaker becomes pretty good as well. Plus you are in green so quest for renewal exists and easy field of the dead...
Alternatively with your high artifact count, you could run disciple of the vault and glissa (which synergizes great with new tormod, and therefore crypt breaker and rot shepherd) [Edits later for more]
Edits: just saw your considered section and it had three other cards I'd recommend. Anywho, the deck runs a surprisingly high permanent count, and if you went more zombie esque, throne of the god pharaoh and Bolas Citadel are great pickups.
To help citadel, skola grove dancer or new Nylea God?
Also, inspiring statuary can help x spells or mana sinks in a round about fashion, (like Finale of Devastation, torment of hail fire, shadows of the past, and Vampiric Opportunist). And since Belbe makes 6 colorless mana for you usually, a rings of bright and strionic resonator could bump that to a... 18 at a cost of 5? Seems great and helps offset your stax! Another card to consider would be underhanded designs.
....I think I've thought myself into building a belbe. Hope I pull/get one soon!

what about Tooth and Nail ? search for hulk + sac outlet/ maralen + agent. or natural order, sac belbe and searching for hulk, i like pattern of rebirth but i do also hate it hahaha. I think my only problem with your list is that citanul flute, does it really works? I was thinking about allosaurus shepherd (activated abilitiy beatdown) but you are only using 6 elves. Everytime i read that Belbe add 6 generic mana, Kozilek the Great Distortion comes to my mind (6 + 4, a 12/12 that allows you to draw when cast + counterspell)

To address flute: it has been working so far. The largest appeal of the card is it's ability to, in the turn you play it, grab Ballista for 0. Colorless card advantage is hard to come by. Flute has put in it's fair share of work so far. Although Tooth and Nail is a one card win, it is quite expensive to entwine, even with Belbe mana. I think it is just too expensive in the end but will look more into it.
Isnt Leechridden Swamp a bit too slow considering you will need another black permanent at least?

Whats a good number of life loss enablers or creatures that ping?
As many as can curve easily. If we had too many I'd worry about the number but as of now we play as many as possible at one mana and some at 2 if they're repeatable

Just because you put cEDH staples into a deck dose not make it a cEDH deck! How do you stop people form winning on turn 2 or stealing your commander? Cool deck just not cEDH!
This is quite narrow sighted. Are you claiming any stax strategy is not viable? Any deck without blue? Just look at the cEDH decklist Database. There is a valid strategy here meant to compete at the highest level. I would suggest examining your biases.
