Hi, it is not that American teachers fear school rules. American schools are ruled by parents whatever they say, that’s how it goes. We, teachers working in American schools, are suffocated and disagreed with this behavior. Not even Principals have the power to do anything. We have bills to pay and families to support. That's one of the main reasons why we stay and can't do anything but write discipline reports that can take up to one hour for each student. After watching this video, the idea of teaching in Africa crossed my mind ❤
We were made to go out and pick stones because we were unable to answer a question in class and I'm talking nursing training college not high school or primary o😂
@cherietaylorsmall5764 that is so true. I had to tell the teacher not to punish my daughter for the whole class. She was the youngest and best behave, and she was punished because of the others. Please sir, not my small, small child...☹️
If not paper throwing, other things happen. My economics teacher then wore a see-through shirt showing his turned singlet. My classmate, while on the platform for coming late to class, was making reference to the singlet while the teacher was writing on the board.(those of us in the classroom didn't take note until she started pointing at it. It was funny then.😂
One day in biology class my friend whispered to me that the teacher had drawn amoeba like a blouse. I burst out laughing. Teacher asked me to share with the class. To this day 30 years later my arms are still paining from my punishment.😂 Africa is not for beginners😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hmmm, i went to school in Ghana, my first eleven years of my life, and the rest in England, I remember all of my Ghana teachers and not many of my England teachers 😅
During school days we will have our physics teacher for one period (45minutes)he will use extra 3 periods to teach Sometimes break time, and you dare not misbehave😅

Keep the African spirit alive, some Africans were getting their "PHd" at a young age. So please never stop teaching and discipline these children to become great citizens and achievers....🎉

I remember in French class someone greeted the French teacher Ekaro(good morning in yoruba) instead of Bonjour. The teacher asked who said that and no one answered.. He told all of us to come out into the sun and lie sleep.. For 30 minutes we were forgotten under the sun, and our uniforms were plain white. The sun was scorching hot, trust northern sun😂😂😂. We were glad we didn't rat out our guy tho. Funny thing is that it was the teacher's son that played that joke😂😂😂
Maths classes at my school when I was in class 8 were picture perfect playgrounds. Sir once tore someone's uniform accidentally 😂
I love my African Teachers. I went to high school in Africa and got my college degree in America. I experienced cultural shock when I was in college. I heard students calling professors by their names and I was shocked. In Africa we say Sir or Ma.
