In India we have the culture of preparing 2-3 fresh meals a day unlike west. They rely more on take away meals and packed tin food (junk).

Sanskrit word for five is 'pancha' and for water is 'apa'.....that region has been called the land of pancha-apa or five waters since the times of Mahabharata. 'Punjab' is simply a colloquail corruption of the Sanskrit term just as Delhi or Dilli is.....Old Persian is derived from Sanskrit being one of the languages of the Indo-European group.....The persian word 'aab' for water is derived from the Sanskrit 'Apa'. Advice for Korbin- when you visit India, on your tour to taste indian street food just carry below items with you to make your experience easy:
    1. Couple of disposable forks, spoons and knives
    2. Tissue papers
These things are cheap (1 $ cost approx) and easily available everywhere in india. Carrying these to food joints will make sure that you won't have to use your bare hands for eating.
And yes during summer don't forget to frequently apply sun screen while visiting indian streets.

I dont really know about the food in the states, but im a Canadian-born Punjabi and i can confirm that the Punjabi food in Canada is much better than the Punjabi food in America. This may be due to the high concentration of Punjabis in certain parts of Canada, such as; Surrey Vancouver, Brampton Ontario, and NE Calgary Alberta... all of which have been dubbed mini-india or mini-punjab. If you really want to try some foods that you feel you missed in India, you'll definitely be able to find them here. As far as I know, there is large population of Punjabis in Cali and New Jersey, which will most likely have the food. Pro-tip; stay away from the "5-star" restaurants or big, fancy ones when it comes to Indian food, the smaller restaurants always have better food. love your vids, keep up the hard work

    Rick and Corbin,
In India Mutton is the English word for goat meat, not sheep meat. For Sheep meat you would have to go into the far North of India. Back in the '60s and '70s many an Indian immigrant to the US got a big surprise when they brought home "mutton" from an American butcher. And not the good kind. :D
Tamarind is the sour tangy pulp that surrounds the seeds inside a hard shelled seed pod that grow on tall trees. When the shell dries it is hard and brittle. The pods are a grayish tan in color and about 5 or 6 inches long and about as big around as your fingers. You recently saw video of some kids pulling out seeds surrounded by a thick sticky dark brown colored pulp surrounding marble sized seeds from grayish tan pods and sucking on them while making yummy faces and, naturally, the Indian nod. You tasted it as the souring agent in sweet chutney and in that brown water for Pani Poori.
