The capacitor values don't necessarily correlate to the power output of the motor. I've seen some high power industrial fans use 6 or 7 microfarad capacitors, which are definitely more powerful that any of these Lasko box fans. The value of the capacitor depends on the design and impedance of the windings. I would guess that higher impedance windings require lower value capacitors than lower impedance windings.
