Firefly needs 154 speed for 4 actions in cycle 0 (first wave of MOC).
You can only go 3 times, not 4, at 150, but from 2nd wave onwards 150 is fine since she has maintained her ultimate into wave 2 assuming you 0 cycle wave 1.
Try it for yourselves.
9:51 tried 154 speed with ruan mei, in combustion state at 224 speed, but I couldnt get the last turn (after 3 turn) in cycle 0, it will start in next cycle, whats the issue here?

Because it's still the only relevant one. And the only one people struggle with. I have not seen many people complain that they are not able to clear pure fiction easily.
if apocalyptic shadow continues to be a break mode she'll have no problems there, but not really something you can talk about much because it's just AV and there are no cycles to hit super specific spd breakpoints for
pure fiction she can do ok with himeko or herta and can also do ok with e2 and neither

@@razergarcia6323 0 cycles? I can't believe that. If you are getting 0 cycle clears you must have some cracked units. But i can see if you have not invested in erudition units, it can be a little difficult. ( Side note: i have lost 50/50 8 times in a row and i think himeko just likes me because I have her at e4, s2. And as a f2p it hurts and seems funny at the same time at this point I'll be happy to get her to e6)
@MrPokke just wanted to point out two things.
1) If you have E5, with the +66 speed from ultimate you now need 151.3 speed with Ruan Mei, not 148 as you said at 22:00. I tested this myself.
2) If you have E4, you have 98 EFFRES, but if you have E5/E6, with level 12 talent, you now have 102 EFFRES, which is complete debuff immunity.

Why do you need more speed when the Ult is giving higher speed on E5?
On base E0 the baseline is 150 speed before transformation
@@TheAnaz41745 The baseline 151 speed (140 w/Ruan Mei) is for firefly to have an extra turn before her ult ends. The 165 speed (154 w/ Ruan Mei) is for Firefly to have an additional turn before the 1st cycle of MoC ends.
Idk how OP or Mr. Pokke calculated for +66 speed for E5 though so I can't help with that unless I also have E5 Firefly (I'm alrdy happy at my E0S0 build)
having more than 100 effect res does not make you immune to debuffs, because enemy has effect hit rate as well, so realistically you cannot achieve complete debuff immunity
you sure your E5 ult isn't at level 11 during your testing?
because if level 12 is +66 spd, it would just be a simple case of 154-6=148 because the speed from the ult is additive to the total and not applied to any multipliers.

💡 Or you could build Firefly as a regular DPS with only minimal break effect. Run her on Jingliu x Blade x Huo Huo team and have fun.
Strong enough to clear everything. Way more fun to play. And you can continue using Blade with her on the same team.

Somehow i got feeling there will be new limited support that can give you superbreak. Hmc is just introduction for new meta. I think the new supper break limited support can convert stats into BE.
It not just feeling, on the future Will be released char that give super break, maybe just maybe super crit rate/super crit damage, give buff all stats, give undispellable buff, give immunity all debuff 1 time, give immortal buff 1 time/3 turn, of course super break Will be implemented on 5 charas

Comparing Acheron, Firefly and even BH to an extent to old units like JY and Blade is craazy. Powercreep really is barely a thing in Genshin but here it's the entire meta
Powercreep has been happening almost every single patch, really shouldn't be surprising.
Even dhil and jingliu which is broken just a few months ago is kinda mid now, and luocha is literally the worst limited 5 star sustain right at this moment.
@ymw1107 dude, my jingliu and imbibitor are destroying. My imbibitor is e2 though. Makes a big difference

E2 dhil is a different story but DHIL and JL at e0 are okay underpreforming but gets the job done its just ff and acheron at e0 are more broken. I have ff e0 with aeon and damn that powercreep is real.@arturius9715

I struggled with building a second team (dps wise) to clear MoC. Currently plowing through MoC 11. I know its kinda bad but Im not MoC player so it makes me happy :D

yeah. I pulled for jingliu's lightcone (which I also regret), but dhil and Clara also want aeon, i dont like having to gear characters all the time, i just want to have separate builds

But i got Ruan Mei after a Welt pity break. That being said, what is better for Xueyi? The New set or the old quantom one?
Quantum set is better for Xueyi. She deals relevant non-break damage because of her BE to dmg conversion and against quantum-weak it is just slightly less def down but affects her entire kit.
Are you suppose to build Gally to those specs in your video?
Does attack boots helps? Cuz the skill miltiplier still based on ff atk?

I got double firefly at 20 pity and a yanqing 30 pulls later, I’m at 50 pity now (cuz I wanted to E6 Gallagher) with 30 pulls lefts. Any recommendations on going for E2 firefly vs saving for Jiaoque for my E0S1 Acheron?
Just go for firefly. Acheron at E0S1 will never reach E2 fireflys level of damage, even with jiaoqiu. (Remember that acheron's power will only increase by the difference between jiaoqiu and your curent nihility support, he does enable trends' effect)
I have S4 clara lightcone, do you think its probably better or very close to Firefly cone at S1?

I have e1 firefly should I go for e2 or her lightcone ?? As going for e2 can be quite expensive. But having her light one would mean I need lesser break effect sub stats on relics.

Careful. I have pulled for an E2/S1 Acheron and it is very expensive. I lost twice 50/50's just to get an E2 Acheron and had to shell out $400+ since I also pulled for her LC which I won (wow thanks Hoyoverse?). After that incident, I removed my credit card and used it in WUWA instead. I am now just a F2P in HSR.

Yes, but 164.34 is only for MoC 0 turning.
Ideally you would want 150 speed for 4 turn combustion state, and paired with rm is 140, which are both easily achievable for me, with only like 400 energy spent on relics I got to 150 speed with 168 BE however.
At what point should I stop stacking BE ? Currently at 440% under Ult + RM + HMC so I wonder if I have to try even more.
At that point either seek more speed or build another dps imo. Except your other dps has been fully built.

Nobody talks about team order. Is Gallagher supposed to go before or after?? What about mc? It's very confusing
Ideally, Firefly will be the slowest in the team so Gallagher can do Basic Atk and then Ult once it's Firefly's turn
However, knowing that not everyone would have more than 151/154 Speed on all characters, then Firefly would be the fastest, followed by Ruan Mei or HMC, then Gallagher.
That's the same problem I have, firefly is the fastest
If ruan mei's skill is active when u enter then i say HMC(skill to get ult faster)>gallagher(ult)>ruan mei(hopefully able to ult)>firefly
ff being the fastest is fine, u just need to get mei's ult on the first turn, just run vonqwac on her and it should be good

It's for 0 cycle only, he was very unclear about that.
For the non-sweatlords, with traces+speed boots+Kalpagni+Ruan Mei, no additional relic speed substats are required for 4 actions within the ult.

Question. If we already have an E2 Firefly, a Ruan Mei, and one copy of Ruan Mei's Lightcone, what offers more value: Ruan Mei's Lightcone for Harmony MC or Firefly's Lightcone?
I would go for e1 Ruan Mei, if you want to pull for something
I think at that point, S5 MOTP is better for HMC which if you still dont have, you can get copies in Firefly LC banner.

in break teams, ruan mei prefers memories/cogs for 3t ult, the res pen is extremely important for break dmg; ruan mei s1 does absolutely nothing for break team, u lose the 3t ult, the dmg boost is useless, only the additional sp is usable. give ur ruan mei s1 to hmc and give ruan mei s5 cogs or s5 memories
now for s1 ff vs e1 ruan mei, theyre both as good, the difference is negligible. since u already have e1+ ruan mei the def ignore will have better scaling than lc's vulnerability, the slow debuff from lc can also be overkill since ure already e2, the enemmies should die before they can take action. e1 ruan mei is also universal when using ruan mei in other teams
tldr: e1 rm has more value, scales better and universal but more expensive to get > s1 ff >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> a second ruan mei lc

Surely the 154 is a bit of an exaggeration at e2 since everything is basically guarnteed to be dead before that last action for first wave which is the only thing the 154 speed effects

In a few of his videos he has Ruan Mei w/ 4-pc watch maker. If Gallagher is with her run him w/ 4pc genius. He has builds in his HMC video as well. Hope this helps.

I have E2S1 firefly and E1S1 ruan mei. My question, if I still want to go wild pulling, should I go for E3 firefly (in my way to E6) or E2 ruan mei first?
Firefly, ruanmei perfectly fine at E1, also her E2 can't add Break Effect for firefly since her ATK% from E2 can't be converted to Break Effect
e2 ruan mei doesn't work with firefly, it increases the ability's attack, not her attack stat. its similar to how seele e1 cannot active rutilant planar set, because it increases the ability's crit rate and not the stat itself. go for e3 if ure aiming for e6, but keep in mind e3-4-5 are a 0% dps increase

If I were you, I wouldn't even pull. DPS characters have a lifetime of a year max.

Honestly rm. FF’s is good, but rm’s lc is beyond broken. She’s also a support unit, so she’ll be usable in any team comp

In general, speed + any desired stat is incredibly hard to get as sub stats. I'm not even talking about rolling into them, just getting speed + BE/Atk% as base subs on any given equip is difficult.

Imma need some explanations on the atk% sphere 'cause I usually think elemental dmg is always better than atk stat.
Break dmage doesn't scale with dmg%
elemental dmg isn't always better than Atk% just look at Acheron for example, she needs more atk% because her passive already gives her 90% elemental dmg, same with Dr.Ratio and Black Swan
In a vacuum yes elemental percentage is usually better than attack ... Unless you have a character that converts attack percentage to a better stat or a character with built in elemental damage stats which means the opportunity cost of increasing attack gives bigger damage gains.

Unpopular opinion, rather than e1 firefly, get ruan mei e1 since ruan mei should still stay relevant even after firefly falls off.

Gallagher for pure damage, Huohuo for trickier enemies I would say. I'm always singing Huohuo's praises but I do think it's undeniable that Gallagher is the BiS sustain for Firefly teams by a country mile. Obscene toughness damage and hilarious super break procs up to 100k single target is just too good to pass up. I was only able to get him to E4 so far though 😖 gotta keep pulling ig maybe if I'm lucky I'll get an early E1 FF. The skill pt thing is pretty huge cause every time MC can use skill on broken targets that's another 100-300k damage lol. Absurd team.
I don't get the speed tuning part, every single guide i watched says that you need 150 in battle(+60 from ult) to get 4 turns in the ult, i know there's another breakpoint at 165 for another turn in the very first cycle, so maybe he's talking about that?

If you only care about clearing for 3-star and not 0-cycle, then you're better off not worrying about rolling for speed at all.
Traces+speed boots+Kalpagni+Ruan Mei already gets you to the speed you need for 4 actions within ult, no additional substats required.
So 140 out of combat (Ruan Mei sleep mode).
Spent 18 fuel and not one break substat.
Use the self remodeling thingy on the new planar (Break Effect rope) and the new relic set (speed boots). Also, use it for an Attack% sphere since it is hard to farm that piece because it has the most main stats available.
