I remember crying my eyes out to this song after I watched it as a kid, but now as an adult with many different experiences, it somehow feels more hopeful than outright sad. Not like a broken promise but a promise to see each other again

This anime was a visual novel strategical rpg before.. you should really check it out its even more amazing than the anime.. By the way, there was a sequel to the game anounced, Utawarerumono2 for the PS3.. I can see the fanwars rising if they don't publish it in english after the 1st game got a full HQ translation and even voicepatch from the ps2 version submitted..

So far there are 22/24 eps released for it and one OVA and the series is currently on break until the end of this month (which should be in about a couple days to a week). There have also been numerous minor anime but still good that have been released so it might take you around 1-3 years to catch up more or less depending on what you used to watch.

Its even more amazing than the first one new characters and very intriguing plot, If you really enjoyed utawarerumono then I recommend playing them or watching the gameplays.

Then Fate/Zero has come out with is a preque to Fate/Stay Night. As for other currently running or recently finished anime, you should check out Accel World which finished at 24 or so eps, then try checking out Sword Art Online which is currently ongoing at 16/about 25. You should also watch Eureka 7 AO if you watched the fi cont

The anime is called Mirai Nikki, note though that near the end there is a small...intimacy scene but is censored for the most of it. Still, other than that, it's another really good anime that ended in around 24-26 eps and it has amazing opening and ending themes.

Speaking of which there's currently an anime adaptation going on for Little Busters! So fr about 3 or 4 episodes are out. Enuma Elish its true that Leaf is making utawarerumono 2 however i havn't heard any news about the contents or the release date, and i've known about it for at least 2 years so don't get your hope up too high. also unless you can read japanese you will need to wait for a group to translate it.

It is the only anime that has made me sit to the edge of my seat for whole episodes and made me cry so much my parent wondered if something had happent to me... Memories decend upon me just by listening to this song.

+Ulrikfs It has been only 12 episodes so far -_- And the MC had sex with pretty much all of the girl in the 1st game, so yeah. The action and plot is just starting to appear. The 1st 11 episodes were meat to introduce the characters and plot will start now, as they will go to war.
I never got to play the games, as I avoid pirating, and I can't play either of the games as I don't speak japanese, or live in japan. I know the first game is an eroge, but the first season of the anime is not. It may not be much change if you played the game, but for me who can't play either of the games without pirating, it makes a big difference. Im just disappointed. In the first season, we only got 4 little girls, in the second, I lost count. Im still watching the second season, so im not sayong it's bad, im just disappointed.
i am pretty sure you can buy the game and download the english patch :) also i am just telling you that you can't expect to change the story based on your personal tastes, did you know that the main heroine of utawarerumono 2 is hakuoro and yuzuha daughter? yes he did had sex with her and she had a kid, this is canon story :v in fact the games explain a lot of things that don't happen on anime.

Enuma Elish its true that Leaf is making utawarerumono 2 however i havn't heard any news about the contents or the release date, and i've known about it for at least 2 years so don't get your hope up too high. also unless you can read japanese you will need to wait for a group to translate it.
Leonzell im sure IF it will come out at some point that there will be a group for it. but translation also takes at least 1-3 years. gosh im old when ill see it again....

shiningyrlife Yeah, I think this anime is one of the best animes made I would say. I really loved it from the start to the end. It is the only anime that has made me sit to the edge of my seat for whole episodes and made me cry so much my parent wondered if something had happent to me... Memories decend upon me just by listening to this song.

The action and plot is just starting to appear. The 1st 11 episodes were meat to introduce the characters and plot will start now, as they will go to war.

I never got to play the games, as I avoid pirating, and I can't play either of the games as I don't speak japanese, or live in japan. I know the first game is an eroge, but the first season of the anime is not. It may not be much change if you played the game, but for me who can't play either of the games without pirating, it makes a big difference. Im just disappointed. In the first season, we only got 4 little girls, in the second, I lost count. Im still watching the second season, so im not sayong it's bad, im just disappointed.
i am pretty sure you can buy the game and download the english patch :) also i am just telling you that you can't expect to change the story based on your personal tastes, did you know that the main heroine of utawarerumono 2 is hakuoro and yuzuha daughter? yes he did had sex with her and she had a kid, this is canon story :v in fact the games explain a lot of things that don't happen on anime.
