this is dope. Super concise. Glad I finally found someone breaking down some vibey deep production that I actually love too! haha also the stewie ref. lols
just what im stuck on.... producing for 4 years now and still get stuck after my 8 or 16 bar loop, total brickwall of creativity. im also learning to do it live on maschine! so thanks! subbed.
Build ups are easy and the drop is fun but Im guessing you’re struggling to transition out of the drip? If so try this trick…leave only the baseline or drums or both, quieting everything else Reduction and adding energy is the key
very nice, you should do more breakdowns of more complex tracks, maybe more about writing intros and full songs like the theory, i can do drops and drums but full tracks are difficult to write
Check out my other ‘How to Make DNB’ series my man. ‘Bass & Vocals’ has the step by step for the bass patch and then ‘Mid Bass & Growls’ goes over how to use for different results. This will also be covered in the next video of this series

You’re in for a treat my man… next video looks at turning a 16 bar loop into an intro and following videos focus on structuring the rest of the song
great videos, they always give me motivation to get a few tracks a little closer to completion, thanks for sharing.
I like your methodical approach here. Thanks for the upload!

This is exceptional. Do you offer 1-1 coaching?
Do you think you could replicate the FM bass in this song? Would love a tutorial on that.
