The interviewer did a great job. She clearly has idea of what she's talking about and that's why she made such interesting questions. Aaron Dessner instead seemed he couldn't hide his lacking of enthusiasm in spite of his polite and well developed answers. A shame. Anyway, this new Big Red Machine album is quite great. Certainly, It has its flaws, but also there are some highlights such as "Reese", "Phoenix" and "Birch". PS: I love you so much The Current guys. You were sort of pivotal in my dark days after being tested positive for Covid. Keep the good job, guys. Cheers from Mexico City 🇲🇽
I am such an insecure person, and I was "cringing" slightly as the interviewer so enthusiastically introduced this gentlman, yet my perception is that he does look "bored." I also just had the thought that he is an "obsessed" musician, probably exhausted from writing, producing, touring, etc...so I am sure his appearance or body language isn't directed at her :)
I never thought of “big red machine” as a heart, but I like that a lot.
