ECR 7.26.20 Session 3

Member Dat at ECR! This was my 3rd session of the day, last one before the lunch break and before my battery died on my GoPro Hero 8 Black. I rode my 2008 Yamaha FZ1 on the track for the first time, something I have wanted to do for a while. I have always been too cautious to track my streetbike because I didn't want to wreck it, but Eagles Canyon Raceway is so smooth, and I didn't have my truck back from the shop this weekend, so desperate times calls for desperate measures!
I am pretty happy with my ride in this video. This was my first time on a bike other than my SV650, and it is a liter bike, so I dont think I did too shabby on the track. The FZ also sits more upright and has bars, wheras the SV is full fairings and has clipons, so a completely different riding position. My main focus for this track day was to keep good lines at least 75% of the time, and work on my upper body position (bringing my head more over my hands and lining up my spine better. I think that today was productive, and my lines were pretty good overall. I know I was definitely doing better with my body position, you just cant see it. Of course I can always improve somewhere!
