Yeah so TRUE he wanted to get all this out so much the relief he probably felt after this. A bless him my heart went out to him when he said all he had was his grandma basically no one wanted him is what he is thinking poor fella. He seems he has a really good head on his shoulders and just needs some guidance I'd say if anyone that has contacts with a rehabilitation treatment program that watches these interviews and they where to offer him the codentials to start the road to recovery. I reckon he would start the process to getting himself on the road to recovery and embellish every second/ minute/ Week/ Months/ Year and eventually when the tough part is done he will sail through the program and take to it like a duck has H6 water. I hope we see an update soon and he will moving down the right path not & like Sammy Snail slowly sliding more down that ugly bad path he seems so nice and i think By how he speaking and his facial expression when he talks about proving folk wrong and get his act together i think he does really it more then anything but like he said and everyone on here said and majority of folk on drugs would say easier saying it then doing it the sickness/withdrawal is horrendous the physical pain so bad but the emotional and mental torture horrible also its mind fucking its so bad 😭😢😱

I see that as self hate, sabotage, destruction. I can relate. The serenity prayer is something that could help center Ricardo. His childhood trauma needs to be addressed. It's not enough to know what being a good man is or to be guilty for not being a good man. He's redeemable because he at least hasn't deluded himself into thinking he's good. When Ricardo stated, “I didn’t know it was wrong…” resonated with me. I grew up isolated on a farm with no family or friends around other then my mom, mute sister and occasionally by dad would come to abuse. I had no idea rape, psychological abuse, bullying from my mother was wrong. I was ashamed of the physical abuse, forced child labor, locked in a closet and neglect so I knew something wasn’t right. When you grow up a certain way, you don’t know any different. To this day I don’t know if I was more afraid of my of mother or the things that happened in the group home 😢

I grew up and allowed everyone, from teachers to nurses, talk to me in any way they wanted, and it was very abusive at times because I was so used to it from home. It makes me sad to think what that little girl used to hear that hurt so much. I remember my father telling me how disgusting I wad at three because he was jealous of my mother not giving him her total attention. My early relationships were the same. Call me names, threaten me, ignore me, grab my hair. It's taken a lifetime and I still am so messed up. I hope you are well and happy. Have a great and safe weekend being adored and adoring. @@peggyk4802 Ricardo said that himself though. He was very accountable throughout the interview. I believe that he was trying to paint a picture of his life and those experiences were part of it. Mark minimized those experiences. I admire Mark for keeping him focused. There is always time to talk about an ex that beat the crap out of you and there is a time to let it the f' go when it is keeping you in a totally unproductive place. I'm a bit shocked, that when this man is trying to explain he was physically abused by her, she would "woop his ass", Mark's response is "That's just her style" I know that men are stronger than women, and generally abuse in relationships is seen as something men do to women, but women can very much be abusers just like men are and her actions shouldn't be excused just because of religion or her gender.
It's like people that encourage hitting kids for discipline, yet understand its wrong to hit the elderly, mentally handicapped, women, animals, etc.... to put your morals in categories can be a risky and harmful thing to do. If its wrong to hit, its wrong to hit, doesn't matter what.

He was cut off, dismissed, preached at, as if these are things he’s probably never heard before. Also I found it awkward that Mark got up in the middle of the interview to talk to someone outside when Ricardo was in the middle of sharing some deep stuff? That fact that you are not in your son’s life doesn’t make you less of a man.
Your are still a man with some stuff you need to work through.
I really admire and I’m inspired my you.
I love that fact that you are man enough to take accountability for your actions.
And trust me it takes a man to do that.
Just remember that as long as you are awake it’s never too late .
You are and intelligent young man who has a beautiful son to life .
I would strongly suggest you be extremely careful with that fentanyl if you feel like you have to do it.
It it’s the most dangerous drug out there and, it doesn’t take alot to OD.
Take small steps until you can make big ones.
Maybe get another job so you can rent a room or motel .
Do something that you love to do every day.
Find a hobby , get back into your spirituality , take wold walks, go to the park.
I would also suggest that you try and get connected to a social worker and let them assist you in getting a therapist or a counselor.
They should be able to assist on getting housing
Not sure if you are in the streets or in the shelter but you can find social works in the shelter system and various organizations.
Start telling yourself the things that you want to hear from others.
Tell yourself that you love you, that you are a man, that you love your child and he loves you.
That you have the power to change, that you were created for a purpose
