Hiya lovely's 💕 On reflection after filming I am going to get another one of these. The flavour was amazing for turkey and ended up having turkey sandwiches with the leftovers instead of curry 😋 x
Had an air fryer for Christmas this year. Never had or used one before. Unpacked and prepped it Christmas Eve. Watched a couple of UA-cam videos and then we cooked the whole Christmas dinner in it. It was quick, it was easy and there was very little washing up. The meal was delicious with the ALDI Turkey crown really moist and tender. P.s. didn’t use foil.
I've cooked these a few times and I find it's best to defrost them before cooking. No need to cover with foil- I air fry @180 for 25 mins upside down then turn them over so they're skin side up for another 25 to 35 mins (hour total) checking the temp the last 10 mins.
Hi Neil 👋 Thank you for sharing your experience 😊 I've bought another for Christmas, and I'm going to let mine defrost to and maybe string it up so the skin stays in place a little better x
Hi Phil 👋 I've decided I'm going to get another one for Xmas day as the taste and flavours were so nice for turkey, and it wasn't as dry as the camera made it look x
Hello Lindz. I am so glad I found your channel. I was sitting on the fence about buying an air dryer. After watching what you have been cooking in yours you have made up my mind for me. I am actually sitting at home tonight waiting for one to be delivered. After watching your meals you have given me confidence. Cant wait to try mine when it comes. Keep up the great looking recipes.take care xxxx
Hi Jean 👋 thank you for your lovely comment 💜 How exciting a air fryer in time for Christmas. I love mine and wouldn't be without it now. Happy cooking x
This is what I will be having for my Christmas Dinner. Air fried turkey and slow cooker ham. I will probably do mine from thawed, covered for first half an hour and then uncovered for the remainder of the time. Great video. xx
Hi Frank 👋 I hadn't thought of the slow cooker for my ham. I was going to pressure cook it and then pop it in the air fryer. Thanks for that suggestion, and it means less messing around for me. Have a lovely evening x
Hi Lindz, the last two years I have done the same type of frozen joint of Turkey I pressure cook for 18 to 20 minutes from frozen and air fry it for 20 minutes. After pressure cooking I just brush it with melted clarify butter before the air fryer. It was good and I am doing it this year too,😊
Hi Lindz, only just seen your video. Wish I'd seen it before, Had the exact Turkey joint was quite dubious about the outcome especially as my airfryer is quite small. For anyone with an INSTANT AIRFRYER 3.8 LTRS, because it is a square bucket , it fitted diagonally across it. I cut down the corners a little and wrapped it completely in foil. Preheat 160° C 5 mins . Roast 30 mins. Remove from tin and foil , cook breast side down 15 mins, flip over , cover with streaky bacon and cook 35 to 40 mins until internal temp. of 80 to 85 ° C. I DID cook mine a little longer but think I could have got away with 40 mins. Ive never had a meat thermometer before but it does make you more confident. Thanks for your great videos Lindz ❤
Hi lindz .Turkey on Friday's shopping list now (aldi) thank you for the way you show the cooking methods we literally have your video playing in the background as we cook with you on the same ninja. Hi linds I have bought a air fryer for my mum for Christmas I only came across ur page yesterday and I’ve watched every air fryer video and liked every video. I never got a ninja I got a tower one 9L something but ur videos are giving me ideas what she could make. Thanks x
Hi Chris 👋 Such a lovely thoughtful gift for your Mum 💜 And thank you for watching. I try and make my videos so everyone can use them, and so many have done my recipes using non ninja Air Fryers with success. I hope you have a lovely evening x
@@LindzandLife well, we had one years ago and it got lashed in the cupboard and never used so I didn’t want to buy a ninja 1 because it would have been too expensive to throw in the cupboard and left and 2 I’m only 17 but I’m going to surprise her shes made comments for ages how much she’d love a 2 draw air fryer so I’ve been online lol. You too thank you so much for ur videos! X
@chrislewis5921 Your comment has made my evening Chris. That's just so sweet and thoughtful. You have a lucky mum, and I'm sure she will love it, and maybe you can cook up a few dishes also take care x
"Grabby Thing" it's impressive that you know all the technical terms, Lindz. I've tried these joints from Aldi & Lidl & they were ok but they did shrink quite a lot which put me off a bit. In this case I reckon a lower temperature may have helped.
Hi Mark 👋 Grabby, thing is essential in my kitchen 🤣 I've bought another for Christmas, but I think to start with I'll tie it up with some butchers string in the hopes the skin will stay in place 🤞 Then use my adjusted times x
I have just bought a Ninja Foodi Max AF400 and have no idea where to start with it. This is the first video I looked at on UA-cam and it is extremely informative. I was quick to subscribe as I know I will be watching many more of your videos. Many thanks for posting them. 👍
Hi, we've just bought the dual drawer 9 litre Ninja with sync and are amazed with it. I found you while looking for a mince and dumpling recipe and found your cottage pie but also your turkey roast. I must say that all meat seems so much more tender and moist than conventional cooking and I'm hooked. I definitely wil, be trying some of your recipes, thankyou Lindz
Hi Barbara 👋 I'm so glad you're enjoying my content 😊 I couldn't be without my dual draw now, and I have to agree that meats don't seem to dry out like in the oven. I hope you have a lovely week and happy cooking x
That didn’t look too bad after resting, we all know turkey is dryer than other meats, I might give it a try, but after Xmas cos we’re going away. Love your videos and how you try loads of things. Have a lovely Christmas Lindz. Looking forward to the next video.greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 xx😊
Looks great. We have one for New Year as away for Christmas. Maybe reduce the temp to 160c and as you said just uncover for the last 10-15 mins and increase the temp then
Hi Ellen 💕 I've bought another, so my plan is to hopefully tie it up with some butcher string to keep the skin in place better 🤞 use the same temperatures but only 30mins for that last bit x

In Canada we have a frozen turkey breast roast which the instructions say to cook for 4 hours. It's only a 3lb roast so I am going to thaw it out even though they say not to and cook it in the air fryer for about an hour and a half
Hi Peter 👋 I love hearing what other countries have. That does sound a very long time, though, for that weight, even frozen. So I'd say you're right to defrost x
Hi Lindz, lovely to see you again ❤. Hope your well. Your turkey cooked really well, do you put your potatoes on roast or airfryer? I do mine on the airfryer setting but I have to put them on max crisp at the end. I'd love to give this a try I need to get one of them grippers. Take care love Sarah Xxx
Hi Sarah 👋 I've tried the roast and airfry modes and don't really find a difference 🙃 I don't use max crisp for roasties normally around 190-200 for 20-25 minutes. Hope you're doing ok. I've been off insta again as things have been a bit hectic here, but I will hopefully get caught up soon. Xx

I bought a 1600g turkey crown and got just 700g meat from it. It worked out at over £19 per KG and that was an Aldi turkey crown! why does it assume you have tin foil. why did they not include a square of foil on top of it to use.
