These girls sometimes speaks in English & Japanese.. but make no mistake, they're *Indonesian* , and they're *cultured* . Because of them, some fans from JP & EN countries has started learning Bahasa Indonesia~ ❤️
@@hadyanf.hawali5098 that's because most of their viewers are commenting in English in the chat. It doesn't make sense for them to reply in indonesian instead. Only 2% of their indonesian viewers doesn't understand English *at all* and there's ID live translation in the chat for them. Meanwhile, more than 50% of their viewers are English speakers that doesn't understand indonesian at all. This is why they're using English more. They can't just speaks in indonesian all the time & ignore the fact that most of their viewers are English speakers. Like Moona always says, "I'm following you guys. If you speak to me in indonesian then I'm gonna reply in indonesian. If you use English then I'm gonna use English." At the end of the day, it's up to them to use whichever language they want. We have no right to backseat. I'm just pointing out the fact that some fans has started learning bahasa indonesia and they said it's "because of Holo ID". I believe this won't happen if the girls didn't talk in English & Japanese. Reine even has indonesian class with her senpai. This attracts more English & Japanese people to learn the indonesian language. Again.. this all won't be possible if they didn't use English to communicate with the world in the first place. What you give, you get back.. Holo ID is promoting indonesian language & culture to the rest of the world, little by little.. And so far, it's working.
Before HoloEN, HoloID was the only group that would consistently speak English. At first that was my selling point, but as I got to know them, I found there was just something so unique about them. Even after HoloEN debuted, the Holo ID:Entity continued to evolve and with the arrival of Gen 2, it became cemented. HoloID is different from JP and EN. JP doesn't need an identity because it is the home of anime and VTubers. EN didn't need an identity because it's universally recognised in the internet, and isn't even bound to a country. But ID really worked hard to show that they have an identity and worked hard to get to where they are. Such a story is why I'll be supporting them for as long as I continue to watch VTubers!
After reading your kind words I dunno why but I have the urge to express my gratitude, thanks a lot man. I've been watching them since the first gen debuted and seeing them grow and getting recognition from a lot of people is the best feeling ever for me as a fan.
