- Abigail Maraño is a 2 time MVP starting from season 74 to 75. She was the team captain of the Lady Spikers for two seasons (75 and 76). A three time champion, Maraño received the Best Blocker award back in season 75 which belong to Gumabao (Back to back Best Blocker - Season 73, 74). During the rookie year of Maraño, the Lady Spikers loss to the Tigresses (Season 72), the next three seasons (73, 74, 75) was a success repeating their winning streak as champions. In pursuit to attain another win for season 76, the Lady Spikers bow down to the Ateneo De Manila Lady Eagles.

Abigail Maraño ikaw ang Best captain ever tyang... warrior sa court pero mabuting tao sa labas... maraming humuhusga syo dati dahil bumabase lng sila sa nkikita ng mga mata nila, pero ang totoo ginagawa mo lng ang duty mo bilang leader.. dahil ung pagiging Beastmode mo ang nagsisilbing apoy na nagsisindi sa kandila sa puso ng mga kakampi mo sa twing pinanghihinaan cla .. at ung pgiging beastmode mo rin at ngiging daan sa tagumpay ng team mo.. tinatakpan lng ng pgiging beastmode Queen ang pagiging mabuting tao... we love you tyang abby,.. lageng nkatingin ang mata ng Dyos syo... take care always tyang..
Dati nayayabangan talaga ako sa kaniya but I realized na she's a good leader hindi lang noong naglalaro siya sa Dlsu kundi sa National team. Ayoko siya dati inaamin ko but nung napanood ko yung mga vlogs niya nagbago yung tingin ko sa kaniya.. she is super adorable, funny and has a genuine heart. Isa na ako ngayon sa mga tagahanga ni Tyang Abby. And totoo nga yung kasabihan na Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover. I love Abby Maraño now💕💕

Leader. She's always misunderstood as a mayabang player but she is only fulfilling the duties of a Leader to fight for her team.
