My wife has a 2014 Wrangler Sahara and it has way more electronics and seat warmers etc in it. Pretty much SUV-like inside. Only the lucky few who knew the history of the vehicle and what is was designed for got their hands on one. But there is one thing that is very clear today. The FJ Cruiser now holds top spot in retaining it's value with the highest percentage historically at 91.5% of it's original sticker price according to Forbes Magazine. Today in North America people are paying more for a top condition used FJ's than the original sticker price that was on the vehicle. I bought my 07 for $19k the same week they announced cessation of production for North America. My dealership has offered me a trade in for a new Tacoma....or 26k cash for my FJ just 1 year later when I was in for service. They are selling clean used low kilometer FJ's on the lot starting at 35k! I am so thankful I got mine when I did....my dream was owning an FJ.
I have a cement colour 2012 model... I really love this colour being reviewed here..... would have gone nice with a white roof though.... the rest of the world got ripped off when Toyota stopped making these beasties.....
The 2014 Ultimate Edition goes on sale in January. Toyota will announce pricing closer to the on-sale date. The FJ model is being discontinued worldwide, after the 2014 model year, Toyota says, and the Ultimate Edition is intended to mark that with a bang, not a whimper.Nov 5, 2013
Great video and I love this car after watching it. This might be one of the model I should consider buying when I get home. I also watch some of the American review on this car specially when it's off road. What I like this SUV is the classic look and of course the performance.
Thorough presentation. Well done. I would have like to see the rear view camera display in the mirror however as well as some indication of the rear locker switch. Still a good job.
your review is good but this is just my suggestion next time when you do a video make sure your video camera movement should at least be smooth.people gets dizzy with this type of movement

This car is big, hard to maneuver at times because it's a bit wide, thirsty (especially in the cursed Mla. traffic), cramped seats, doors are not user friendly, oh and my favorite... those damn blind spots!!! Asada023 I have a 2013- the backup camera view is built into the rear view mirror- the left 1/3 or there abouts. Comes on when you go in reverse. Also there is a backup Sonar button that you push tht will alarm if you are getting near an object behind you. Both very helpful!
