- Amazon always has motorcycle tires for the lowest price, You can search for any bike:

Let me know if that link doesn't work.
By taking off and installing your own rear wheel when you have the tire replaced you can save anywhere from 70-100 bucks. And its fun. This video will show how to install and align the back wheel with the axle and final drive.

Nobody will find this comment
If you lift it into place and rotate/jiggle the tire it should click in. I should have tried getting a better camera angle.
i want to mount a shaft drive to a laced wheel. does it have ti be a soecial wheel? its for a hond cb900c
What kind of grease did you put on the axle?
i loved the idea of a shaft drive bikes until i saw this video, seems like a lot of work just to change a tire, i guess that's why other shaft drive bikes has a single sided swing arm and you only have to take 4 bolts off like on a car.
Ya, It was kind of a pain, with not a lot of benefit. I have a new bike with a chain on it again. And its easier to work with. (Takes less time to change.)
I just changed the tire on mine. It's a no brainer if you have the right tools and you are organised. You have to remove the seat, and all that so that you can take the fender off but it's like 7 bolts in total for that. Then you remove the rear caliper, bolt from caliper bracket, bolts from the final drive and then the axle nut and axle bracket from the right side. Wheel comes off. It's basically undo bolts, clean put back in the reverse order. It took me 3 hours to take everything down and put back in, including cleaning the spoke rim, final drive, shaft, u-joint inside the transmission, spline inside the rear wheel. Greased everything and put it back. 3 hours, excluding the tire change which was made at a shop. And when I say clean everything, I didn't wipe it with a towel and that's it. I took my time cleaning everything as brand new and the spokes on the rim one by one. It is worth the cleaning as you don't reach those areas too often. And you don't have to rotate the ENGINE as he said in the video, you have to place the wheel in it's place with the shaft ready to couple and if you spin the wheel, the shaft spins as well. You spin the wheel slowly until the shaft splines are aligned and it goes right in. It took me literally 30 seconds to put back the wheel.
Good job I like the video
