Highlight: 2024 The legends’ Vision Legacy Tour Guangzhou

On April 13, 2024, during the Group B men's singles matches in Guangzhou for the "The Legends' Vision" tournament, I won one match and lost another, failing to advance from the group stage.
The external reasons include the venue being stiflingly hot and uncomfortable, a lack of mental preparation, and fear of speeding up as I worried I might not catch my breath, leading to a very lethargic performance.
Internally, I had been in Guangzhou since Wednesday, adding up to four days, and faced a dilemma due to the need to leave the city by midnight to avoid a penalty of 200 yuan and a deduction of 3 points for my vehicle (due to regulations limiting non-local cars). At the start of the match, I was caught between two choices:
a. Play seriously and try to advance, which would mean booking a hotel for over 200 yuan, facing the 200 yuan penalty and the point deduction, and spending the night away from my 3-year-old child who would stay with relatives.
b. Lose the match and immediately return to my relative’s home in Foshan to pick up my child and continue our vacation, saving the hotel cost and avoiding the fine and point loss.
Combining these internal and external factors led to a lack of serious commitment in my play.
