This is great if you wanna die. The pipe is a dryer pipe... it's not made for direct flames. Even the best quality can't resist to higher then 650-700 F degrees wich can be easily obtained even in a tiny stove. ( depending on what kind of wood you will be using)
That duckling that you used for the chimney melts at a very low temp. Be very carful it’s not made for heat like your putting off, you could easily have an out of control fire.

I made one of these and where I used jb weld to connect the flue to the can it caught on fire.. I didn't know JB weld was flammable even after it dries
Some fool is going to try this and burn their house down. Not that it can't be done, but where are all the precautions that should be emphasized!? #1 cutting out more metal than needed to form a sturdy stand. #2 making sure it is used on a non flammable surface. #3 showing where you are venting it and that it DOES NEED TO BE VENTED OUTSIDE! #4 And that venting cannot touch any flammable surface. You assume people have some common sense. They don't! Some are incredibly stupid.
Bravo ! Neat and nifty little heater/stove,great work friend ! 🌞 This is a great form of recycling, making something useful from discarded items. It is also a fine example of being resourceful, using what you have on-hand to do something instead of automatically running to the store. Thanks for sharing this cool project with us.
I recently cut my hand on a grinder. When I say cut I actually mean a gouge, as the opening left by the grinder was about 5 mm wide. Horrible injury took ages to heal. Metalic or kevlar gloves would have saved me if there are such things. Be careful.
@@jsmithkoko it is a flange at the top on the inside. If your stove is circular on the inside cut a circle the same size and then cut a strip off one side (lest than 1/4 of the over all diameter of the circle. Weld at the top just below the chimney, with the part you sliced off away from the chimney, and angled down slightly. This forces the smoke to circle back and re-ignite. It also stops the flame from going up the pipe. Let me know if you have questions 😎

• This could be very useful in these Russo-Canadian winters. (Well, it would've been if winter had actually come this year. 🤦) • It looks okay, but I'm a little worried about how flimsy the legs look; they're too wobbly and would get worse when hot. :-| • I'm tempted to make one to keep on my desk. 😀 The heat and smell would be nice. 👍 (The co-op might evict me though.) • I don't have a vent for the smoke; it would need a hole in the wall which would make a draft and defeat the point of the stove.
This could really be useful as a mini stove inside a tipi tent. I would make at least 3, possibly 4 support legs though and also bend up only every second flap to make the chimney, that way it will retain a bit more of the heat instead of going out through the chimney, while it is still pretty good ventilation.

Nothing worse than an out of control duck fire 🐤🐤
Do u have any suggestions

I like this I need to make one for my shed so I can get away in the winter time
Just make your mini stove little better and stronger metal pieces
I made one of these and where I used jb weld to connect the flue to the can it caught on fire.. I didn't know JB weld was flammable even after it dries
Trial and error right?!
I’m going to build one from a fire extinguisher tomorrow

I agree! An accident waiting to happen
My first thought "What brand of coffee did you drink to enable you to work an angle grinder like that?"
But, the alu chimney will catch a nasty fire...
That was temporary, just to show that stove working

Thanks for feedback harry, just for fun and about 2 hours of my life for making this mini working stove, thanks for watching again
Great idea, I'm going to use a metal5 gallon bucket and some more durable materials. But still use this basic method
I feel like a KAREN! I hope no one tries this in an apartment! Curious about the stack thingy. Is that a dryer hose?
I love these kinds projects and yes that’s a dryer vent. Clearly not a sustainable smoke pipe.. but in a pinch it would work.. temporarily at least.
Don't forget to where gloves and glasses when cutting with the grinder!!!!!🤔
Can never be too safe 😝
Couple of hacktubers comment about that,so in next video for sure protection will be no,1 priorityyy..
You are right

Tin is the worst ferrous material to use for woodburner,it will fall apart and rust to pieces in less than six months
Great way to show how to cut off a finger/thumb.
Couple of times while recording the video🙄
I would say yes neat but don’t try heating homes like. This is morons that will burn there homes down with this
Not very stable. Should have left more of the can on the bottom for stability.
Excellent
Finally something Nice
Thanks
not really a stove since you can't sit a pot or pan on top of it though.
First yay
Ps where did you get your power supply unit you use to power the LEDs?
Try adding a double boon. It will give you more heat and stop the flames from going up the flue! Good job on your project!
Thanks man
whats double boom

Hey, bravo for an adult response on youtube. Zero sarcasm there. I didn’t know what it was either. Thank you.

Looks good but dangerous, burn your fingers off or burn the shed down lol
what is the fun if its not dangerous
When you close the door there is no air intake. Is that right ? Good videoi
Hi what is the sealant you used to glue the flue to the can? Its not in English and i would like to make a burner for my greenhouse many thanks
This is cool. thanks for sharing. Could you rivet instead of using screws?
Is it a foot warmer? Nice tho

Is that a can that food comes in or something thicker?
brilliant, thank you
No problem, just showing how you can make something from nothing.
@@Hacktuber in an emergency something from nothing can be life saving, thanks again
Whats that silver tube you put on the top called please
super...how bout a feed tube ?
Why the empty space on the bottom?
I know because my woodburner flu bird cage cover was tin that lasted four months
What happened afterwards? I'm tempted to make one so wanna know how long can it last and what happen after
Thanks you 👍💖✨
Be alright as a tea light
That’s pretty cool 😎
Will this heat up a 2500sqft home?
Maybe catch it on fire...
