I think it is safe to presume that the updates on the Marlies this season will be one of the few highlights of the year. That team is stacked with some nice talent.
Dude you're hilarious, finally I've got someone cheering for the same team, or even the same sport as me. You're awesome dude, keep going on and doing the lfr's. Go leafs go, from Norway
Reimer has a great chance at becoming starting goalie again. He was amazing in 12-13 season. Carlyle ruined him and tore his confidence apart. Babz is great and im confident with him as coach reimer can make a come back!!! LOVE YA REIMS :)
Nice bitch shutout loss! The funniest thing to me was Mike Babcock's reaction to the Wings' video tribute for him. It was already 0-2 at that point and he waved at the crowd looking totally pissed like "yeah f*cking thanks a lot, f*ck!" lol I was hoping you might mention it, but great vid anyways (as always)
How do you feel about Kozun racking up 20 points in 17 KHL games, which means he's at a pace to 70 points? I mean, it's not the level of NHL, but closer to that than the AHL. I'd say the second best league in the world. Anyway, how do you feel about Leafs letting him walk, when he could've actually become a fairly good 3rd or even 2nd line scorer? :>
+Yusuf Ali Baig Lol no it isn't. Look at some names some teams have just in the star/superstar category: Torpedo Nižni Novgorod: Alex Frolov, Andrei Kostitsyn and Sergei Kostitsyn SKA St. Petersburg: Ilya Kovalchuck, Evgeni Dadonov Avangard Omsk: Vlad Sobotka, Alexander Popov, Alex Perezoghin Metallurg Magnitokorsk: Sergei Mozyakin, Danis Zaripov, Wojtek Wolski Would any of those guys play in the AHL? - No. And those are only some of the biggest names/scoring leaders of the league.
I just....i can't...ugh. Going to see the Yotes play our old friend Kessel tonight. Im sure he's gonna score twice just to spite me as a Leafs fan in attendance. Go Lea....oh forget it.
And then gave up a 3 goal lead in the final 10 minutes of a game 7 for the first time in history. And the next year. The Leafs have a 95% probability of making the playoffs with 15 games remaining. Bernier goes down and Reimer comes in and does his magic. Not saying they all don't suck but Reimer is a proven choke artist.
+Josh Mitchell When Bernier came back that season, we could have still gotten back in the playoffs. BUT we lost 3 games in a row with him in net too, if he was such a stud and the sole reason for our success we would have won those games. Additionally bear in mind that we also tried McIntyre and got no where because it wasn't the goalie that was the problem. Was Reimer flawless those games? No, he could have done better but there were plenty where we lost 1-0, 2-0 and those do not go on the goalie's shoulders. The Leafs had lost their scoring ability entirely. Can't win if you don't score a single goal. The team had entirely fallen apart, and you can't blame Reimer for that entirely. He was just unfortunate enough to be the guy stuck in net for the chunk of that collapse. Remember last season? Bernier lost TEN + games in a row and had the lower save percentage under Horachek, does that say he stinks as a goalie OR that he was playing behind a team which had self destructed? Think about that for a moment. Last season Bernier basically got to go through the same thing Reimer did the season before; play net for a team that had given up in front. Second no, just no. The three goal lead was not given up by Reimer entirely. The TEAM gets that honor. What happened in the final 10 mins of Game 7? The team thought they had a big lead so they stopped skating. The last key moments of that game were played entirely in the Leafs zone and they couldn't get the puck out for a minute to give Reimer some space which led to him being pelted and the pucks leaking in. A goalie can't play D, offense, and do his own job all at the same time especially not in a must win game like that. Also bear in mind that that was Reimer's 1st playoff experience and he finished with a .924 save percentage which is far from "sucking". Also to give you more specific numbers: James Reimer faced 272 shots and made 251 saves during the Leafs/Bruins series, the most of any goalie in the first round. The team messed up and sat back, choosing not to play right up until the final horn went off and THAT is why we lost Game 7. You can't relax around a team like the Bruins who were facing elimination if they lost that game. Heck any team that is down and senses you're sleeping can and WILL take advantage and that's what the Bruins did. They collected themselves and threw everything they had at the net and got the win. You know darn well that in hockey you can lose a fat lead in 2 minutes if you stop paying attention and the Bruins had an entire 10. We see blown leads all the time when a team falls back and leaves it all to their goalie and it's heartbreaking every time. Leafs lack of focus is to blame plain and simple. Reimer took us that far, without him there would have been no playoff series let alone a game 7 and the playoff drought would still be going. He's been sitting on the bench ever since Bernier got here and that can be pinned down as a good reason why his confidence/play is down. It's not easy when your coach is always dumping on you and hanging every error over your head constantly. Does he need to work harder and improve on things like glove-hand, rebounds and consistency? Yes but he's not as bad a goalie or vastly inferior than Bernier as you think. When given the real chance to prove that, he's shown that to be true. Jesus that was long. Sorry for the wall of text! Bye!
+Sulmon Kazmi (TopHatWearingSpy) He means the same Habs with ACTUAL prospects and STAR players! Poor Babcock goes back to Detroit and sees a real STAR player Dylan Larkin just when he leaves. Name Kadri will have to lead the Leafs as a number 1 centre bahaha
Shawn Mathias is a really good player he was tied for third in goals last year for the canucks with Henrik Sedin with 18 goals
Hey Steve, I like how you commented on the Marlies. You should try and do that throughout the season
Actually, the weather sucks in Vancouver. There's supposed to be a Hurricane.
great video Steve! and thanks for being a good sport toward my Wings
I think it is safe to presume that the updates on the Marlies this season will be one of the few highlights of the year. That team is stacked with some nice talent.
Dylan Larkin will be nominated for the Calder with Eichel and McDavid
lmfaooooo "get bernier in the jays lineup"
I'm watching this as the Ottawa/Leaf game is on....ooooh boy
Re-watching this after the 2020 Lottery and I know how you feel.
Hey look the Bruins and the Leafs are tied in the standings this should be fun
Dude you're hilarious, finally I've got someone cheering for the same team, or even the same sport as me. You're awesome dude, keep going on and doing the lfr's. Go leafs go, from Norway
A smile? Remember your place as a Leaf fan!
If only Bernier had summoned the athletic prowess of Nelson Mandela....
Babcock is gonna be limpcock by the end of this season.
Brendan Alimony He deserves a *better team*!
Fun fact: Last time the leafs won a playoff round, I was in preschool :(
+HockeyJ i wasn't even alive.
Actually they blew a 4-1 in game 7 of the first round. I cry every time :(
Aiden Beck He said Last time they won a playoff round. Besides i'm probably older than you seeing as i can read and spell.
well if it makes you feel any better I was born 2 days AFTER they won their last stanley cup :(
The last time the Islanders won a playoff round, my parents hadn't met yet.
''C'est dommage, mon ami!'' :')
Dangle has honed his Dennis Nedry impression.
Thanks for always making me laugh...even when we are losing.Awesome job lmao.
Game 2 and you're already going crazy, lol gonna be a long season
tank nation may be making an appearance very early this year
Steve maybe MFR's will be better for your heart, despite the fact I love hearing you rant :D
The weather wasn't nice in Vancouver yesterday. We all miss Matthias though.
Matthias was awful. Raymond with a big body. Santorelli though... come back my love.
Reimer has a great chance at becoming starting goalie again. He was amazing in 12-13 season. Carlyle ruined him and tore his confidence apart. Babz is great and im confident with him as coach reimer can make a come back!!! LOVE YA REIMS :)
Fuckin' love the new intro, Steve!
Look at the bright side, were one step closer to Matthews
True
+ImBrysor yep
+ImBrysor and in leafs eyes- he is a bigger talant then McDavid and Eichel combined!
Allan i Dalen Not really
+Allan i Dalen nah but hes still really fking good, cornerstone for a rebuilding team
So far Reimer is playing well against the Sens. Here's hoping for a W :)
The only goal in 2 games is off a skate and the first shot on goal in both games went in. Not even surprised.
WHOOPSIE DAISY. Your new intro is still making me laugh :).
I think Hat Guy forgot his hat for the "shut your mouth" at 0:48 lol
Your the best lol your knowledge of hockey is awesome and your hilarious!
I swear after Bernierès groin injury in the first season he came to Toronto, he just was not the same goal tender after that.
im calling 10-72
season record
+Darek Malhotra because the leafs well never go to over time
***** lol my bad
15-60-7 as a leaf fan
Nice bitch shutout loss!

And now Larkin is the DET Captain. What a Lark, indeed
Hi ppl...What does LFR stand for?? Steve, love your commentary!
+Brian Sinclair Leafs Fan Reaction
+Brian Sinclair Leafs Fan Reaction, my friend!
+SteveDangle what do you think of jack eichels first nhl goal?
+SteveDangle OK thanks. I'm from central BC, so as a Canucks fan, I can relate to your expressions of frustration and helplessness.
+Brian Sinclair same
Hey Steve, who's your pick for the Stanley Cup this year?
How do you feel about Kozun racking up 20 points in 17 KHL games, which means he's at a pace to 70 points? I mean, it's not the level of NHL, but closer to that than the AHL. I'd say the second best league in the world.
Anyway, how do you feel about Leafs letting him walk, when he could've actually become a fairly good 3rd or even 2nd line scorer? :>
KHL is 2nd best league in world so its good
+ZeroChill Actually the AHL is better
+Yusuf Ali Baig
Lol no it isn't. Look at some names some teams have just in the star/superstar category:
Torpedo Nižni Novgorod: Alex Frolov, Andrei Kostitsyn and Sergei Kostitsyn

Metallurg Magnitokorsk: Sergei Mozyakin, Danis Zaripov, Wojtek Wolski
Would any of those guys play in the AHL? - No. And those are only some of the biggest names/scoring leaders of the league.
+Kebabscout The AHL has NHL quality players. The KHL have may have some, but not much.
Yusuf Ali Baig
You obviously haven't watched any KHL games. Teams like Magnitokorsk or Jokerit would destroy any AHL squad.
You crack me up man...
#LeafsCup2020
# leafscup2067
#leafscup2067
Also no the leafs lost to Columbus lol
Yummu lefs fan tears, I have missed these.
Having Shanahan and dadblackock does't make you the wings
I just....i can't...ugh. Going to see the Yotes play our old friend Kessel tonight. Im sure he's gonna score twice just to spite me as a Leafs fan in attendance. Go Lea....oh forget it.
Seriously Steve I feel like we could have a shouting match over the Penguins or Leafs having a worse start to the season.
If I really liked the video and I'm already subscribed then what do I do?
HE WAS OUT!
Abby
LGRW!! i just watch this guy because he's hilarious and i love it..
LocChokingVMorningG same here!
What song was that at 0:10?
"Ohh I bet you do cutie" ahaha
Leafs to go 0-82 this season
He Was OUT!!!
Let's Go Rangers! (Texas)
inb4 82 leaf losses :)
What does LFR mean?
leafs fan reaction, I think
i'm a rangers fan so i enjoyed the angry blue jays fan part
Umps won game 2
your own manager said, "one play doesn't make a game" and we won by 2 runs (6-4) so even if he was out we would have scored more runs (5-4)
+Aiden Beck Can't blame the umps for obvious reasons but he was out. They lost in such a Toronto way its unbelievable
+Aiden Beck nope, cause both of those runs were scored after the inning should have already been over.
Theo Hermann and there wasn't enough evidence to even tell if he was out. blue jays fans just looking for excuses
Finally yes
Larkin > the Leafs entire roster
Hasn't Reimer been driving the bus off the cliff every time the leafs have collapsed in the past few years.
+Josh Mitchell Can't drive a truck with no wheels.
Reimer is garbage. You're the only person still in denial about this.
+Josh Mitchell Actually... Berniers driven the bus off the cliff. Reimer took the bruins to 7.
And then gave up a 3 goal lead in the final 10 minutes of a game 7 for the first time in history.
And the next year. The Leafs have a 95% probability of making the playoffs with 15 games remaining. Bernier goes down and Reimer comes in and does his magic.

Jesus that was long. Sorry for the wall of text! Bye!
Steve why are you sad that Leafs lost. Do you expect them to make playoffs?
Speaking for myself, despite knowing this was going to happen it still sucks to lose.
1st dislike
First like
Toronto sucks go habs go
Why are you on this channel then?
You mean the same habs that are being carried by Price?
+Sulmon Kazmi (TopHatWearingSpy) He means the same Habs with ACTUAL prospects and STAR players! Poor Babcock goes back to Detroit and sees a real STAR player Dylan Larkin just when he leaves. Name Kadri will have to lead the Leafs as a number 1 centre bahaha
+Sulmon Kazmi (TopHatWearingSpy) it's called a franchise player and most teams have one. Who's yours bud? Hahaha right Toronto doesn't have one.
Carey ain't carying shit ! We have a lot of good young player who keep proving themshelves like galchenyuk, gallaguer, suban, eller and pacioretty
