Finally a video with very detailed instructions and not long winded Thanks!
You’re welcome! Just trying to help others out.
Nice. Quick and clear...thank you for not making this a life-story 30 minute video like everyone else these days lol
Thanks for watching! That is my goal quick and short.
Thanks bro, I just installed mine watching your video!
You’re welcome, thanks for watching!! Ride safe!
Hats off to you sir! Clear and detailed instructions communicated effectively and efficiently. Could not have done this without your help! Ride safe!
Glad to help!! Ride safe!
Exactly what I was looking for! Great video!
Thanks! Glad I could help!
Watched many videos before this one. Best solid explanation and video. Thank you! 🤙🏼
You’re welcome! Just trying to help out ours. Thanks for watching!
Excellent, straight forward and precise. Noice!
Thank you, Glad it helped!
Sweet!!
Thanks!!
just a heads up, would have been good to show us the product fitted at the end.
Noted
really well done vid, whats the clearance like between front fender and the engine guard? Looks close...I have a fender extender on my 2022 Street Bob but was worried my extender might hit the bar.
I live in the U.K lots of rain and mud on the roads this time of the year!
Thanks! From the center of the tire to the bar it is 2.5 inches or 63.5mm. Hopefully this helps as I don’t have the extended fender to give exact measurements. Ride Safe over there!
i dont have a torque wrench so i used loctite and went as comfortably tight as possible.
@@mrobb90 that should be good enough. A lot of bolt going into metal you will be fine. When going into aluminum you need to be careful.
How are the the straight bars or peg style engine guards in comparison to the full rounded crash bars? Do they provide the same level of protection?
I feel the straight bar looks better than the full rounded crash bar. As for the level of protection that is hard to give a great answer. I feel that the straight bar would give enough protection but the full round could possibly give more as it extends out further towards the top keeping it more protected. Hope that helps answer your question, if you have any other questions just let me know!
Did something similar on mine. I noticed that after installing my bar, it pushes out the shift pedal a little bit which puts a little more angle on the shift linkage rod. There seems to be enough play to allow it though. Wandering if you noticed any issues on your bike.
The bung king doesn’t effect the shift linkage at all. It does push the brake side a bit but not enough to cause any issues.
Gotcha - thanks. I got forward controls on my bike so it moved the shift pedal out a bit, similar to the brake pedal. Probably not enough to warrant any issues. Cross fingers.
@@jacklantern4337 I’m sure it will not cause any long term damage. Ride the heck out of it with no worries.
Do you happen to know if those slider bolts are 1/2-13 thread?
Yes they are.
@@DoubleDMoto Thanks!
Sir, did you end up with one extra washer? I assume it was from another application that may have required an additional one
It is very possible honestly, I do not remember having anything left over but it is possible. Sorry I don’t have a more of an definitive answer.
Would like it better if you showed the finished product!
Several people have asked for the same. I will be doing an updated video soon.
So all that n no wide shot view / walk around to check out how it looks? Interesting.
Yes, I honestly didn’t think anyone would care to see that on an install video. Well apparently I was wrong, you and several others have said the same thing. So I now make sure I add that to every install video at the end. My apologies!
Would have been nice to see what it looks like away from the bike.
A review video/overview is coming out soon as a lot of people have asked for this. Sorry no overview of product installed.
I did mine in lowrider st it was the og one not bk it was a fucking pain in took 3 ppk
I almost went with that one but got a discount on the BK. The OG is definitely a good one.
