Did you have any codes for the lights? Currently have a 00978 - Lamp for Low Beam; Left (M29): Open or Short to Plus code and the low beam does not work. Rest of the headlight does work just the low/high beam. Wonder if replacing the ballast will do.
I didn’t check but I’m sure it did. If you’re uncertain if it’s the ballast you could always swap them side to side and see if it works. These ballasts are pretty cheap used on eBay, I was unable to find a new one that’s high quality. It could be an issue with the wiring to the headlamp or something inside the headlamp like wiring or the ballast.
