Cool as hell. I saw someone say you can step over on overhook if you can break them down to far shoulder. Do you think that's a good rule of thumb? Gonna go look for some vids of cary kolat doing it like you said.
Would love to see you make a video like this but about standing overhooks/whizzer and the fundamentals of having a strong overhook/whizzed in general

I think it’s risky but it depends how good you are at doing it. If you get good it can be great. I have a playlist on my page called “takedown breakdowns” check out the polish by DC, Henry c inside trip, chael sonnen throw against shogun, and dc again for his lateral. I used to title them over hooks are better than under hooks. Funny you asked.

I've never gotten into dogfight unless it was from half guard, and the underhook man having leg control nullifies all of this.
