you have some great staff KA...James and the home crew are A one.....lucky to have the Manic one ...and Wizaahd ...tuning the Caaahb's...the Professor and Ronnie ...know the deal
My last 2 stroke was a 2001 CR250R. It didn't run quite right when I bought it, so I rebuilt it from the crank up. That bike was a ripper. That motor was amazing. I could pull with my buddies new 06 crf450r till 5th gear.
@EarthSurferUSA oh true enough. He wasn't the most experienced rider at the time. I rode his bike right after he brought it home from the dealer. It was the first 450 I've rode and it was incredible. My 01 was a beast but that 450 was a monster. I later sold my 01 cr250 and bought a barely used 05 crf450r. I couldn't compete with the 450s at the track so I joined them.
James, Their delivery person, always comes through well for them. I met him twice, having bought a streetbike and dirtbike from Ken. Best and most honest, delivery person, that you could have deliver your bike to you. All bikes are triple strapped, with thick blankets put over them, so they don't get scratched in transit. Lastly, James goes as far as to sleep in this motorcycle trailer, every night that he is one the road, so they don't have to worry about anybody breaking into it. James is a retired Marine, and Connecticut State Trooper. You have no worries if James delivers a bike to you. Take Care, Brother.
It’s crazy to see that 89 on UA-cam, I live in MO and have seen that bike on fb marketplace before! I’m happy to see it when to y’all and it’ll be refurbished completely That’s so awesome! Keep on doing the great work guys! Make America 2 stroke again 🤣
I don't even understand how your guys in the shop can keep up as you buy 40 bikes in a week (and there always seems to be more coming!!!). I'm 56 so close to Ken's age and I relive my childhood every single video seeing these old classics come in. Had a '79 Elsinore CR 125 with that ugly 23" front wheel (anyone know why they did that?). I HATED that front wheel, but I loved the bike!
@@mr.m325 yeah, I have a Heritage Softail Classic, I've seen them on the Harley's, they look good on those bikes (I know lots of people put them on Street Glides), just not on a dirt bike IMO....and definitely not when your bike is the only bike with the big wheel! LOLOLOL Clearly, considering most big bikes have a 19" up front, they must not track THAT well or else they'd still be running them. Point being, the bike looked like a 70's Big Wheel toy!!! LOLOLOL
Crazy you guys got one or some from Cape Girardeau, MO that's about 25 mins from me and wouldn't be surprised if I know the guy you got it/them from! If I'd have known they were down this way I'd have had them stop by, we've got a couple vintage bikes for sale one of them being a 1976 MR175 Elsinore with 351 miles on the odometer!
Eric Gorr wrote about the 01 CR engine in his prized books, other than that shit alloy frame that would crack @ the steering stem. That 89 looks fresh Ken! Harder and harder to find blood red rippas.
Good Ole James always comes through for you, and never disappoints. He'll, the next time he is in Louisiana, if he has the time, I wanna treat him to a nice Southern Louisiana Seafood Dinner. He brought you back some gorgeous bikes in this load. Loved that 1989 Honda CR 250. It was gorgeous, along with the other CR's. That shipment was a Motocross Lover's Dream. Jr. Definitely needs to bring the fro back. He wore it well. Then, all he needs to do, is put one of those combs in it. Lmao. ML&R from Here in Louisiana.
Whenever you guys do a pick up I always keep my eyes peeled for the real dinosaurs that might be rolling out of the trailer. OSSA, CZ, Hodaka, Maico, BSA, Penton, Laverda, TM, Bultaco, Can Am, Husaberg, ATK, Greeves , AMF (Harley), maybe some day 🇺🇸
@@KaplanCycles You guys have any used CRF450X's in stock? Sold my XR400R, she went to a good home to some kid up in Vermont. Great bike, but extremely outdated.
Oh wow all absolute beautiful bikes but out them all my favorite is that 89 CR 250 couldn’t afford the 89’s so dealership, gave me a good deal on the 88 because the guy previous looped in over😂
I had a déjà vu while watching this for some reason, I am a MMI grad and Im loving the classics more and more, I don’t even care about the new bikes now. I recently moved to France, and let me tell ya there and tons of classic bikes everywhere, I just saw a 2003 Yamaha 1300 that I’ve never seen or heard of before, and many others. You should come and check things out! I’m building a 1994 Honda CBR 600 in the garage right now that I picked up for 750€
I’m in Nice & also saw great vintage bikes in a sea of super scooters which dominate. To be fair, the larger capacity especially Yamaha scooters look slick and they have strong motors. I also laid eyes on an early 2000s Yamaha FJR1300. They are absolutely slingshot bikes. A pal in England had one, very similar spec to some U.K. police forces use. I think 160 bhp. Also saw a nice 02 or 03 Suzuki GSX1400, twin pipes & white wheels. A real pair of modern classics. I have no idea on valuations. Bikes hold up well here as it has a very kind climate! Honestly, you can ride year round even if you’re a southern softie (man of Kent, me). I don’t see what I consider really old bikes here though. Not one 1970s stroker during a month long chill out, and just one 70s Kawasaki Z900. I still haven’t picked up a bike for Nice. Unlike in England, I don’t know anyone out here into bikes. Wife isn’t mad keen on riding but she’ll come if it’s a social thing and my pals are often with their wives. They’re actually the most enjoyable rides and meetings now we’re appreciably older. Only a couple of the guys still doing track days in their 60s, but we’re sensible enough on roads to be accompanied. Evenings are such a laugh. The ladies moderate the daft excesses we would get into when it was just the lads. Out here in Nice, I’m so tempted but for several reasons I might end up with a Yamaha 650 twin super scooter. Very good for pillions, room for a bit of luggage and decent wind protection if you want it. They lack the romance of a “proper” bike, but they’re really low maintenance and so commonplace that I wouldn’t be concerned about theft or vandalism. I’ve no garage though secure parking we’ve got. Great to be back in England and out on the Suzuki triples once again!! We’ll move back & forth between the two places for so long as we’re permitted by the WHO & WEF.
@@GT380man I love scooters! I had two, I blew one up and crashed the other lmao! You’re in Nice? Where abouts is that? I was thinking Italy, but if you’re in England I’ll have to come and check it out once my CBR is finished, I have a mate in England I’m going to go visit. But that’s great you hear you and your mates are still riding around at your age! Ride till you die of course lol.
Props to your crew for restoring these beautiful artifacts.

I started riding in 1973, Dude thanks so much for all the flash backs, I still have my 1976 CR125, it needs restored but all there.
The chassis that cr500 is built on is one of the best handling chassis Honda ever built. Telepathic cornering.
Love the 2 stroke videos man! The 89’ 250 got my attention for sure.
