From somebody that started with a CB-100, SL-125, and then a CB-350G...I have to say, this is your finest haul yet. The SL-350 is absolutely gorgeous!! 😍Well done, men!
Wow what a wonderful collection. The 60's and 70's were great decades for some classic motorcycles. I think I was blessed to have ridden most of the Hondas in this collection. I had a few of them at one time or another. The others I would borrow a friend's. Sure would be nice if you could keep all of them for the museum.
Wow, this one of the nicest smaller displacement vintage Honda dirt bike motherloads I've seen from Kaplan! Unreal gems here. You are blessed for sure! Remarkable!
I hope they all find a good home the owner was a good friend. ken if you can find it in your heart can you please leave one in the museum in his memory..(XL250)
Jr. scored big time. 4 beautiful Honda XL Enduros, and like Justin was saying, that Beautiful Honda CB 750 in that rare color is stunning! I love that color, and this is the first time I have ever seen it. That Honda CB 750 is droolworthy! Truly a headturner.
A definite trip down memory lane . Those SL's inspired me to run two paper routes in the cold Peoria winters . I was so freaked out when I got over 650 dollars in Christmas bonuses on my routes . The good old days . PK
What a testament to Honda engineering, materials, and quality (and the person who cared for them). If you don't like vintage Honda's, check your pulse.
That gave me goosebumps the bikes you guys get are awesome! I have a couple of surgeries to go through got hurt at work, but I'll be coming to see you when I get done with that delay in life, and I'll be getting a few bike's when I get there. God bless, Matt,ky
That XL 350 is like looking in my own garage that orange 175 XL I fell in love with a great uncle drove one I almost teared up seeing it just great memories
There has to be no better job than this,It is a absolute dream position of employment, position, undertaking, venture, Congratulations y'all,I enjoy this so much 💪😎💯
I really enjoy these videos of...getting a first look of what "surprises" might be coming off the trailer. I especially enjoy when particular bikes bring back a fond memory. ***that SL175 is the exact bike (same color) as the very first full-size bike that I ever rode. (First time with a clutch as well) I was very young, maybe 6 or 7 and it was a massive intimidating beast of a bike to me. I just wanted to sit on it when all of a sudden I was prompted to take it for a ride. The bike had to be held up for me as I had to swing way over to the side just to try and get one foot down. I was scared, but I eased out the clutch and away I went in a large open field, using 1st and 2nd gear. The only prior riding experience I had at the time were with the same family's z50, and trail70...along with a short stint on my brother's trail90 with no brakes. 😮 Eric in NC
Score! Damn I wish your shop was closer😂 congrats on the haul and thank you to the man that passed for keeping these girls in pristine condition. Is that Damon Bradshaw’s MHR cr250 in the background?
Love seeing all these Hondas getting wheeled into your shop. I still got my 78 125k that i bought back in 1984 & my good friend bought a black n red 250 a few years later like the one you got in that haul. Nice to see such a fine collection, also to hear those thumpers at the end. You always make my day much brighter 🙂. Thanks guys
In the 80s I had a cb100 and that crazy bike had a powerband that would kick in so late in the rev range 😅then scream, she got faster and faster everyday lmbo 😅,total trip
I was down there from Canada last Friday and visited the museum, you guys are the real deal! Beautiful job on the building and a top notch staff! Your raising a fine young man also that talked me into heading up to the Wick for some races. I will definitely be back for another visit sometime to check out the growing motorcycle collection! Great job guys 👊
I definitely want to go to work somewhere where I don't really want to go home at the end of the day because I am too afraid I will miss something exciting. 😂😂😂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
1:30 reminds me of my old xl185 i had in the 80s ,what a work bike she was ,lovely sounding single thump, i would ride my bros xl250 in the 70s that shifted rapid over the fields two up
Absolutely wild collection Ken's a kid in the candy store. Some of those bikes are classics which Ken Kaplan loves. Absolutely awesome video sir. Thank you, Kenny Jr. And Ken senior Kaplan cycles number one
Nice score. The 78 looks like a cross between some type of Burgundy but almost like more of a Root Beer!!! Did all of these come from one single collection?
I just went and did some research and found an unbelievable website. I think I should send it to you and Jason. It looks like at 1978 they offered a candy presto red and a candy alpha red.
