l modem principale rileva questo extender con il nome TL-WA854RE e non c'è modo di modificare questo nome, anche da dentro l'app o nella pagina di gestione del ripetitore, ti fa cambiare il nome del dispositivo da visualizzare dentro l'app ma poi il modem lo rileva sempre come TL-WA854RE. Infine non c'è verso di modificare la password della rete duplicata dall'extender, deve essere per forza la stessa della rete principale, ma che senso ha? Come mai questa limitazione? Molto strano.

you can use the web page. just type the ip of the repeater to the web
I'm seriously hating my tp extender. i synced it via WPS (couldnt sync it any other way), all lights are good to go. But now the extender won't show up on wifi? does it merge once synced? i have yet to find information to support this. everything seems to be working, although not at a faster rate. help.
Have you tried to do manual configuration as shown in the video to see if something changes?

I don't know how far covering the repeater in open field.

Could you plug in something like a gaming console on the Ethernet port? And I have an arris modem/router combo all in one thing from time warner that I got almost 2years ago, but could that work on this wifi extender?

OMFG WHAT is the default password?! NOWHERE in the paperwork does it mention any default password accept to give an example "ADMIN" AND 'ADMIN' and yes I've tried them AND my current wifi details too, NOTHING works with this piece of crap HELP!

Hello Trafegon I want to ask I already install my extender and successed. When I
connect in my iPhone so smooth no problem but when I connect to my
laptop it shows LIMITED in WIFI network :(
when I unplug the extender only use my router NO LIMITED its connected.

Free Meters I don't know. I can go through two floors of my house without problems.

Now that I connected it and the said of repeater is the same as Routers how the device will decide where to claim internet from? I mean router or repeater? Will it claim internet only from repeater and router is worthless?
whether repeater if enabled continue it's okay or if it is not in use should be turned off
