Solid progress, I think. The stumps provide a relatively easy way to get logs, but of course chopping down trees helps clear ground for now. The wiseants gave you a lot of bother in the previous game, but here they just sort of linger around on the fringes. I wonder why the difference? Also, you don't seem to come across as many camps and loot sites etc when hunting/travelling. Now and then, yes, but not as frequently from my hazy recollection. Perhaps a late game perk...
I think I read they changed how the animals behave and attack. I have had problems with wolves often now. Before I would see and hear them and kill them with the bow I noticed there are much less camps and supplies along the roads. The bandits also got changes to their behavior I think I read somewhere. I haven't seen them to know yet but I'm sure we will find out soon enough
